I've heard that's a miss translation.what he supposed to say is "come back when you've learned to whipe your own ass" I haven't tested it yet but the wiki said he only said that to the younger fighters like Eliot for example.

Anybody have any impressions of his new japanese VA from dimensions? is it as good/better/worse than his previous VA?.don't have a 3ds and i tried searching on youtube but all i found was a vid using his english VA and it sounds like shit. hopefully they replace it for 5U since i prefer to play in english but if its that same VA then i'll switch it to japanese
The JP voice is a higher pitch than his past VAs (not by much but noticeable). It isn't bad but I prefer to understand what my character and opponent's are saying without mid battle subtitles.
Did not like the English VA in Dimensions (again the voice is much higher than it was in 2 and not nearly as intimidating) but I don't want to have to switch voices every time I want to go between Leon and the rest of the cast. I can grow to like it (as I did with playing Hayate) but I would prefer at least an attempted imitation of his 2 voice.
I like the English VAs for everyone except Lei Fang (those damn laughs and shouts), Hitomi (voice is WAY too high pitch), and Alpha 152 (I just don't like Aplha 152 in general).

It's... passable. Not great, but passable. You can hear him grunting at 0:12 in this video.
I'd prefer that they recast a new Japanese VA for Leon. It looks like we're gonna have his DOAD one again though, but I can live with that.

Many fans asked for putting in the game an option that give the possiblity to choose what characters leave with the Japanese VA and who with the English one. Would be a nice thing imo.
I play with English voices btw, probably should have said that before.
Edit: After some thought I think what I said below might be what you are referring to.
I think it would be cool if 5U had options to make certain characters speak in either language without changing the entire cast. Ex. Kasumi Japanese, Hayate English, Ayane Japanese, Bass English (as he should always be), etc. I know I have always preferred Leon's EN voice from 2.
Back on track. I think it would be great if Leon had an advanced mid kick hold that led into Dervish Throw. Of course, that would be stupid powerful.

Personally I prefer the Japanese VA, anyway I dislike to lose the meaning of the sentence that the characters say during the fights, so occasionally I switch to the english ones.

Yeah, same here. I don´t hate his japanese VA for dimensions, but the original was so much better and fits the character perfectly. To bad Kōji Totani(Leon VA DOA2-DOA4) is no longer with us... But like you say, we have to live with that.
Also, about is english voice, I don´t care so much since I always choose the japanese ones, I liked his voice in dimensions though.
I'm sick of the same Japanese VAs saying the same lines and making the same grunts for the 100th time and the English VAs are actually passable this time around.

Something that annoys me is how Leon and Bayman have exactly the same tag throws. Same goes for the opening and victory pose with some characters. I don´t know why TN did that, but I just hope this don´t happen in DOA5U, Leon needs to feel more original and not just a clone character.
