@Striker, The VF characters weren't meant to have Holds.

And the Buffs that they were given were intended for people who juggle. The problem is the Virtua Fighters aren't meant to juggle, at least not Jacky, Akira, and Pai. Those guys aren't meant for juggling. Akira and Pai, in particular, are meant to stop combos, not have them.

The Buffs they have in DOA are good. They compel players to see what juggles the Virtua Fighters have.

However, the Holds and juggling cripple their true strength

However, I never said it was the Subaki's that made them good. I said, "The Tools that made the Virtua Fighters good had been removed or nerfed." I stated the Subaki's shouldn't have been nerfed the way they were. I argued why some of the best tools were given different properties rather than their original.

Why were Akira, Pai, and Sarah were not given their Hard Bounds or Wall Jumps or Stagger hits?
As a person whose main game is VF I find your reasoning for buffing the VF characters sabaki's wrong. After watching this video I came to the conclusion that you think the VF characters sabaki's is what made them good @10:27. That is wrong the sabaki's of these VF characters is not what makes them good in VF. The sabaki's shown in this video can all be easily counter and stop in VF by a knowledgeable player, from all the gameplay I seen of high level VF these sabaki's is not what allowed the these characters to win and be strong. Which is why I wanna say these sabaki's are GIMMICKS you should not rely on them in VF and probably in DOA as well. @14:25 you tried to sabaki on wake up with Sarah, that is is bad thing to do in with her in VF and probably in DOA because Sarah P+K is a offensive sabaki it works only at +frame. If you use it at -frames your gonna get beat out every time and in VF that might even leave her airborne which gives the opponent a chamce to do a combo. Another thing is @9:27 Pai used her sabaki and she was thrown out of it, her sabaki does not stop throws or kicks it only deflects high and mid punches when timed correctly. With that being said I just wanna say I'm not that knowledgeable in DOA so if (I made any mistake feel free to correct me)I don't know if the VF characters should be buff or if they even need it (reason why I didn't go over the 2nd half of the video) but buffing their sabaki's is not the solution imo.

Indeed. Overall, they are good so far. Adding more in-depth tools from VF will drastically change the game and possibly ruin it.
Seriously? The VF characters are all really good in this game. If you want all their VF tools put in DOA raw, fine. Just take away their critical holds, their frames, and their easier input in DOA compared to VF. Don't pretend they didn't get buffs from their transition into DOA. Give Pai that 11f jab and 14f mid and take away her holds and see how well she does in DOA.
While I see how retaining their old tools can be interesting for DoA's engine, I've already long since gotten used to their new tools as it's not at all impossible to win fights with them. My 61% win ratio doesn't lie~.

But the thing is this is DOA not VF, they have to be adjusted to fit the DOA mechanics, why not just play VF then
I do believe the VF characters are fine. I would like the missing moves.....but not the mechanic behind it.

The decisions made for this game and this system are justified, and I would expect the same treatment given to DOA guest characters in VF.
Wild, that is not true. I can use the VF characters just fine. I just wanted to see if there were any other players that wanted The Virtua Fighters to have all of their techinques
Honestly, it just sounds like you're just mad that you can't play the VF characters like VF characters because they're not in VF... because this is DOA.

What I am pointing out is VF users have no ~choice~ but to get better. Either because of their difficulty of use or complex movesets
