    It really is Force, but Doa on a 2D field and give some characters fireball, and everyone would love DOA.

    I agree with this as well. I think location is an element too.
    For me, im mostly an MK/IGAU player, American games. Now these games are anywhere near as popular in the east as there are here in the west and vice versa. The east clearly has a more variety in terms of game and scene.
    I feel that us in the west really only play three games. USF,Marvel, and
    smash.

    No I don't play competitively, but I've influenced more than a handful of people to play this game.

    You guys are my friends. I'm not really interested in fighting with you. We should be on the same page.

    No, everyone here doesn't care. If this were true, tournament turnouts would be really big and not averaging at 30-60+. DOA's concern is not of EVO, it's concern is with growth. Growth leads into larger scale events. Nothing happens until that happens. I shouldn't have to repeat that.

    You're not thinking about what I just said. DOA being at EVO gives it a credibility and legitimacy to the average joe. New players see that and want to get on board. People are also a lot more inclined to get off the couch for that tournament than any other. That equals growth. On a large scale.

    We're not gonna see eye to eye on this so lets just leave it.

    It's clear that Evo is mostly for Capcom, anime, Smash, and 3D fighters that are not DOA. But it is what it is.

    Yeah it is. Its just a subject that's always fired me up. I fight for the underdog but if everyone's okay with it, no real sense in being bothered.

    I give the Smash community mad respect for showing how important community support should be, but they got fucking Christmas this year. Anime generally does alright, but usually doesn't get any standout treatment. KI being there is interesting as well. No offense to Tekken, but I don't find that game very representative of 3D fighters.

    Honestly I love Phase 4 exactly as she is (design and fighting style), however I liked your redesign CommanderWiggles. About Honoka, of course people jump to the conclusion as always instead to get an objective picture of her. I will wait to see exactly what she can do before to get a final judgement (but for now is positive even if I was expecting another kind of character).

    A lot of people didn't really like it unfortunately. I mean, when I did the XPS one with the hair, people liked it, but when I came up with outfit designs and such, I didn't get any sort of help like, "any chance to change the color, or maybe add this or change that." It was constant "Oh, it doesn't suit her." Well, help me out then. Give me an idea of what would that would also individualize her.

    There's not even that many complaints about her boobs. It's the absolute lazyness in character design and fighting system, that has upset many. And rightfully so.

    The real reason people tease DOA ain't T&A. Its because its really difficult to play at a high level. Deepest fighting game there is.
