    Kasumi players spacing moves to make them safe? yeah right

    but f'real though it seems like if i don't mash out that 5 frame punish immediately Kasumi pulls back so far that the punish will whiff even if she's still recovering, maybe my characters just have short range 2T's, but 1T and 3T have enough range to punish just fine, but since they're slower it's easier to mess up the timing

    I know the meme in the fgc is "after 25 you can't rely on your reactions in fighting games anymore lol", but honestly I feel like my reactions are better now than they were when I was in my teens

    Here's the thing about that, whose to say that those reactions are (Strictly talking fgs here) any well invested on? Like I always felt like then, I might have been reacting to bait tactics more. Overcommitment. I can say from experience it doesn't always work out to react super by subtle movement. We can choose to react to big whiffed stuff now better perhaps. Great at reacting with crush moves personally.
    Kitana has a combo in MK11 where if she does it on p2 side, she's +10, but if she does on p1 side, it's -6, classic NRS nonsense, i luv it lol

    They nerfed continuous walk speed (holding a certain direction such as 7/9). Basically the speed decreases the longer you hold that direction and decreases even more up close.

    Why they did this? I have no idea, it's as if TN is promoting up close abare games at all times.

    MK11 was fun but i don't see myself playing it for the long term, a MK with gimped movement and limited combos is not an MK I wanna play for long
    Big the cat is the 2nd fastest character in Team Sonic Racing, who the hell was in charge of balancing lol
    really wish developers would stop this whole "one button specials" trend in an attempt to court scrubs into playing their games. If you suck at fighting games, it's cause you suck at fighting games, and being able to execute is not going to change that reality

    The game that does it best when it comes to being casual while also courting the hardcore imo is Persona 4 arena, the game still had sinpld motions (but they were all qcf) and button bases dp' s (although they were 2 button) but it was appealing to scrubs but courted the hardcore simultaneously, if more gamesfollowed that as an example Id have a much lesser problem with the dumbing down of modern fighting games

    What about smash letting you do inputs for more damage but the regular inputs for plain Jane damage. I feel that was a good compromise and encouraged actually learning inputs for optimal damage

    funny you should mention that cause i just picked up Ryu in smash ultimate and that is exactly the case with him, regular inputs do standard damage, but doing the actual inputs for his special yield more damage more range more everything, but that kind of micro-execution has always been a thing in smash so I don't mind it, rewards you being precise, as it should
    Am i trippin' or did Mila 8ppp used to combo on NH in 5? if so, what other option do i have for decent stun outside of 5k when i land 6t?
    almost rage quit Nitroplus Blasterz today not because of a match, but because of failing to do a max damage BnB in training mode for a stupidly long amount of time :/
    Team Sonic Racing ironically is more fun with the team mechanics turned off, but at that point it's just a standard kart racer with sonic characters, which is fine

    real talk, i don't have as much nostalgia for Crash as i do for Sonic, that said, i'll still check out nitro fueled when it comes out, mostly cause it gives me Diddy Kong Racing vibes with it's adventure mode, and I friggin loved Diddy Kong Racing

    like even if you flawless block something like Scorpian f3,4 it's still -7 and it has so much pushback that even the new instant flawless block attacks can't close the distance, like wth!? really hope that gets looked into in future patches cause as it is now it's just a very precise input with very low net reward

    honestly, a new design is not gonna change a weak script and unfunny jokes if the trailer is anything to go by, but regardless, at least the design is one thing they can fix so im all for it. You best believe i'll b watching this movie when it comes out, cause lord knows i aint got shit going on during Valentines day lol
    Kinda mad that I started MK11 with Cetrion, cause shes so much fun, super strong, has 2 variations that cover every match up and now I have no desire to learn anyone else =(
    Any1 else ever get double dangerzone combos in The Rubmle with the "get back in there!" guy? is that a glitch or something that can be set up? cause it seems like if you angle yourself correctly and keep the combo going long enough, the game just forgets you already triggered the DZ and lets you do it again

    I think holding and having the stun reset contributes. I know there's a reset time for a fact though and its pretty short.

    I've always thought it's only after a return to neutral, I've never heard of it having a timer.
