The more I see stuff related to Jamie the more I'm starting to like the character. Probably won't be my main with Juri being part of the base roster but I'll be messing around with him for sure.

Street Fighter 6 looks promising, character models don't look bad, supers look/feel impactful, story mode might be handled the same way like how it was handled in MK Deception/Armageddon, which could be nice if executed well. The roster leak is kind of unfortunate but this can be turned around if their gameplay's going to be interesting. If Capcom doesn't mess things up then ArcSys might have a competitor again.
Tfw a 400 Player Point (Ultra SF4) reads your backdash via jumping forward and punishes it with a 720 of all things, my eyes saw what they saw but my mind still doesn't believe that that shit happened.
What would you all think of a new Ninja Gaiden game that wouldn't be a numbered title and it'd feature Ayane or Rachel as the protag/main character? Some of the characters in older NG games are playable only for a couple of missions (ik that RE did things differently but still) but it would be nice if they'd get their own NG game imo.
Heavenly Sword is a surprising game to me, mainly from the gameplay perspective, haven't imagined myself enjoying its combat as much as I do. Feels like offense and defense were thought out quite well and all 3 forms of the sword that the protag gets serve their purpose nicely. If only it had a juggle system somewhat similar to DMC's, that would've boosted its gameplay from good to great for sure.
Been wanting to grab up DOA6 for a while now but either the discount on the Deluxe edition is not enough or the money has to go elsewhere during the month, maybe this time during the summer sale on Steam I'll finally be able to get it.
Now that I have a better PC, I've been looking into emulating some older Xbox games and I wanted to try DOA3 for a long time. Got the JP/3.1 version to work on Xemu but I'd also like to "install the 3++ patch" but I've only seen Cxbx mentioned in the DOA3 forum (unless I accidentally scrolled past the Xemu stuff). Is it possible to get 3++ working on Xemu or it can only work on Cxbx for the time being?
Fightcade's super nice, had fun playing 3rd Strike on it, hopefully PS1 games will be playable on it soon, imagine DOA1 with rollback.
Leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, even if the source is trusted, however, it was kind of obvious that this wasn't one, appeared out of nowhere, had nothing to show up as proof. I'll be honest, as much as we'd like a new DOA game, if KT's gacha DOA is doing well then I don't think we'll be seeing DOA7, a remake or a collection for a good couple of years, I hope that I'll be proven wrong tho.
I find it silly that people are saying that Labcoat 21 is killing FighterZ where the idea of a team fighter is that almost everyone, even the low tiers have some broken shit about them. Imagine UMvC3 coming out now instead of it coming out 10 years ago, people would say that "Vergil is too OP, we should ban him" Or "no Yumi and Adachi in this household" in BBTAG.
What would y'all do if you were the ones to call the shots at KT, mainly in regards to their videogames? I'd probably do the following:
-DOA collection (2U, 3, 4) on PS, Xbox and Steam with rollback, 5 and 6 getting the rollback treatment, later on the first two Xtreme games as well on PS, Xbox and Steam
-NG4 obviously
-Nioh 3 obviously
Not gonna lie, it can get pretty satisfying to parry stuff with Aoi in VF5US, it is a pretty useful tool against players who like to abuse 2P and also to make the other player pay for not switching things up, for their habits in regards to the buttons they like to fall back to in certain situations.
A good couple of fighting games suffered because of COVID but two of them that suffered the most were Granblue, because the scene and the game itself weren't able to really grow big but I feel that it can still happen, Under Night on the other hand may have been at the verge of becoming big but with no offline for a long time and a very bad netcode all that momentum was lost.
A shame that VF5US doesn't have a battle log for the lobby matches as well, would be nice to check games where we test out other characters in order to see what we're doing wrong plus record some matches from there instead of having to record every match or to play ranked for them.
FF Origin's gonna be that gift that is going to keep on giving, wonder how many memes are going to be made of this game in a few months, hell, how many memes we're going to find by the time we finish or 100% the game?

T7: T8 announcement/short trailer maybe

Gotta like fight or boss OST's that have dynamic music that change if something happens during the fight, or if the boss goes into the next phase, it can make it more hype and keeps things fresh compared to hearing the theme repeat/loop itself after a while. -
