    the fact that chip damage doesn't kill in SF5 is just weird, i kinda miss that "oh crap 1 more blocked special and im dead" scramble

    But it's almost like a double edged sword. Does removing chip damage KOs give more power to the opponent on wake up in that scenario?

    Persona 4 Arena does it right. All chip damage is absorbed and can't kill.

    I swear i grab more with gen fu than i do with actual grapplers in this game

    Same here with Brad and Kasumi.

    Its because the grapplers have terribal stuns. Not long enough for a launcher but not short enough for a throw trap.

    Except for Nyotengu. She's got it all.

    Eh,it should be that way,I mean,Gen Fu has a lot of mid moves,which happen to be his best moves that you can use,so you have to mix in a lot of throws,so that the opponent won't try to hold your mid moves out of critical stun all the time.

    Guaranteed divebomb is only a DOA4 thing and, as awesome as it was, its departure isn't really anything to be sad about.

    The reason it was great in DOA4 was because Bankotsubo had no juggle damage without, but that isn't the case for Nyo. She has juggles that do way more damage than 8PP>Divebomb.

    I do wish she at least still had a guaranteed 8PP>Divebomb on all weight classes after 3T though. That shit was awesome and as far as I know, her 3T is way worse.

    3T is not THAT bad, damage wise it aint much, but it is invaluable in certain match ups, and by certain match ups i mean against brad wong and ayane

    @Yulungur helped me realize that LeiFang is actually the devil incarnate. Her mid-crushes are her minions. And yeah, 3P+K can go to hell.

    i really need to implement more tick throws in my game, no point in frame trapping ppl who are never going to challenge your advantage

    Yeah if only her P+K had follow ups.... that would make more valuable on block. As it is now people can throw punish it when they block it.

    ah yes, online, but honestly I when i play jann, i play him like ein, in a very footsie heavy whiff punishing keep away style, and i can't help but feel like im doing it wrong.

    No, you're doing it right, but use your speed and safe pokes to secure your life lead, to play Lee correctly you have to know how to pressure without mashing, and how to zone without being predictable.
