    This is the first soul caliber I'm actually going to go in on and it might be the last 1? Wack. I hope it doesn't fail. I mean doa is fine and all, but I need more than 1 option for 3d fighters

    As if Yoshimitsu couldn't get stronger in Soul Calibur.. he looks annoying af in the SCVI stream.

    Yoshi is one of those "this character is so strange and when people get good with him we're in trouble" type characters
    As much as I love Setsuka, if she makes it into SCVI i'm going to miss Alpha Patroklos.

    Gotta admit, despite not liking Alpha Pat as a character I did like his theme and moveset.

    He could combo off setsukas version of the just frame umbrella and do 2 in a row which setsuka couldnt originally do; the damage was crazy if you had the technical skills to pull it off and one of the best punishes in thr game. Going to miss doing that
    okay was chatting with hoodless. In DOA6 stun into launch grants max launch height but playing the stun game to reach threshold reduces launch height. So the stun game is redundant in DOA6?

    Well that sucks... no stun game means holds aren't as useful... may aswell play virtua fighter.

    If holds werent useful youd never see them used in doa 2 or 3 either. Stun is used more as a delivery service for pain because of fatal rush and other unholdable type stuns. If those are too obvious you can mix up other options as always or quick launch.

    It's likely a case that I'll have to get my hands on DOA6 to see for myself, but I see the choices primarily being between stun-launch and stun-resets (and thus no more stun-stun-stun-launch/critical burst etc.). Though no offense Lulu, I don't think VF is that relevant this console generation. Definitely not until SEGA AM2 develops a VF6.
    Team ninjas character reveal trailers can be lazy sometimes. Would rather not see a trailer showing off moves and old properties we’ve seen for the past 6 years

    Eh something similar to the rig trailer. I did see the new moves which were okay. But more property changes like in the rig trailer. Not really excited for new stages as that’s expected

    Rig trailer wasn't really any different. That said, I don't expect Leifang or Hitomi to be drastically different. Sadly Hitomi will probably have the exact same mechanics as in 5.

    Yeah, hitomi has pretty much always been the same. Well if Ein returns, hopefully he goes back to his DOA4 glory properties.
    Except doa and Tekken I’ve forgotten how to play most fighters. Want to try the tournament scene for another year or two.

    Well, just play DOA & Tekken. That's all you need really (you can add SC too once SC6 drops).
    The DOA5 oki system seems nonexistent. They don’t want that blender shit back. Game seems moreneutral focused? Launch height increased
