    BestBuy is selling DOA6 at the price of $17.99, but for anyone going to get the game, see if you can get it used at a even cheaper price. $2 would be a reasonable price, if not, save your money for core fighters.

    Square Enix with that Dissidia roast. But to be fair, Square is not the best when it comes to balance either. Arena Brawlers are the hardest games to balance literally. Namco couldn't do it, TN tried to, and I doubt Square can KEK. No matter what company you'll find out there Square, they will struggle trying to balance Arena Brawlers.

    Yeah, Square needs to understand that arena brawlers are a nightmare to balance. Dissidia NT still looks great and is a good game all things considered (though the decision to lock story progress behind a "currency" system was pretty damn stupid).

    I wonder, are the titles split between different teams within TN? The difference in quality is unusual for one studio. I mean, Bethesda kills of every franchise equally while Ninja Gaiden was so good that TN made dmc unplayable for me, then NG 3 and doa6 happened...

    One of the most surprising things of this year is that if it wasn't for KOF and The Outfoxies, Smash wouldn't exist. Sakurai literally just happened to be at an arcade spot one time and just went "Hm, think I want to make a game but it's party time with Nintendo, a game for kidz yiss".

    I'm surprised a KOF character wasn't included in the previous Smash installments.

    From what I hear, Sakurai used to be really good at KOF 98. He came up with the idea for Smash when he bodied a couple who were beginners and felt bad about it. As for why KOF didn't appear sooner, probably because it was more profitable for SNK to partner up with Capcom instead. Smash didn't get that much attention until Melee.

    @Mama I've tried that in DOA5LR and people complained (since a huge chunk are also players who are not into the game competitively) as well as the competitive FB group. Between Emann, Kwiggles, Bladez, and AcrylicHobo, Kwiggles was the winner. I'll try to be more fair this time around. Maybe off a raffle or some shit, or randomly posting it.

    FF7 Remake will have content that was originally intended to be in the PS1 version but never made the cut due to CD-ROM space of 512MBs.

    @Jyu_Viole_Grace Didn't even know FF7 had cut content either. I suppose most development generally gets stuff that doesn't make it into the final game.

    @DestructionBomb I hope second part goes until city of the ancients and part 3 from that point until the end.

    If they can work on that then they will be able to build most of the world for part 2. 3 would just be working in reusing most of assets, story cutscenes and working in lategame.

    If its true then that's pretty big. The game will feel familiar to people who played the original game on PS1 but at the same time it brings new stuff to the table, giving some new content and life to this game. If they don't screw this up, then they can earn lots of money and also show that they can still create great games as well (since their games have only been good at the very best these last few years).

    Since DOA6 took an L, expect DOA6 upgrade at PS5 / Steam release? could probably see new stages or returning ones, but i'd also imagine new characters similar to DOA5U in expansion. May even have the full team behind it this time.

    A lot of fighting games took an L this generation. But yeah, it's Tecmo, so expect a DOA6U at some point.

    Also @XxNoriakixX, kind of weird to refer to DOA5LR as a "solid foundation" to build on when that game was loaded with "ugly costumes" aimed at "pedos and weebs". KT/TN have had that direction for DOA practically from DOA5 or DOA5U's start.

    I meant the gameplay of 5, so the costumes were for koei's favourite crowd while we could have fun fighting and learning. 6 only has fanservice, not even a ground game, 5 was worth supporting to a degree :eliot: 5 was a solid step into competitive territory with a better balanced cast. I think i only bought the halloween ones for lei and gen though. But 6 is so lazy and koei's behaviour is unacceptable

    Code Vein is pretty good. Later in the game is where it starts to test you since your NPC buddies are more likely to die in missions compared to early in the game. Certainly is more coop than the general Souls, but it's pretty good imo.
