    I agree to this tweet, but I see some flaws. DOA6 (vanilla/first version) is being compared to DOA5LR (which is another version of DOA5).

    DOA5/DOA5+ had 2 to 7 Free costumes (2-4 Color Swaps) depending on character, DOA6 had 6 (males) to 15 (females) Free costumes (2-5 unique designs with 3 color pallets even) in line similar to DOA1 Costume set.

    Newcomers don't replace Missing Cast.

    DOA5LR clothing destrution had more exposure when the outfit is damage (like Senran Kagura), DOA6 clothing destrution either had their belly's expose or minor clothing parts took the damage while the outfit suffered any damage. DOA5LR Season Pass exclusives had unique designs (with some recolors), DOA6 had bunch of recolors from default game (with some unique designs).

    Plus DOA6 has a serious problem with any designs like Rachel's Fiend Costume & Phase-4 Arnice Transformation Costume (something I would want to spend My money on recycled content from DOA5).

    I'm pretty much convinced that hair colour change is a PS4 exclusive feature because their scheme only worked with the ticket system.

    Tickets were implemented specifically into only the PS4 version to fix the problem people were having with not being able to buy costumes induvidually on the most used platform. That fix simply lead to another idea for a scheme for TN, apparently. If the ticket system was across all platforms, you can bet TN would try to milk all of us, not just PS4 players.

    Western PS4 players not being able to purchase single costumes but only sets (while Asian PS4 players had no problem there) was already the beginning of that monetization scheme. Many gave Sony the blame for this, but that was absolutely false, a KT employee outright admitted it was simply a decision by KT Japan.

    I guess what I mean to say is, the tickets started (or appeared to start) as a fix for an earlier scam only for KT to later use that fix for a scam its self, lol.

    Jeez, how is there not a pause disable option for DoA6 yet? Even Smash has it. Seeing that in a tournament stream is kinda cringe... :/ Still, nice to know DoA6 ranked 3rd in participation at Winter Brawl, and Jaeger completely destroyed everyone with the Canadian Kicker. :rig:

    lol i didn't know event mode turned off jiggle physics, dam you esports! but more than likely both players forgot to turn it on, which is understandable. Every time I get called to a setup in tournament I;m not even thinking about turning on event mode, details like that sorta fly over your head in the heat of competition.

    at least for me, sometimes my opponents will be attentive and make sure it's on, but if we both forget (which happens alot) then we just play with it off, luckiy i've never gotten an accidental pause so it's not really somthing I think about

    Still, I think if they've already gone as far as to try taking FGs online at all, with all its flaws, I think it would be worth while to have at least the option for crossplay there and try to get it to work as well as possible. Maybe when 5G becomes a common thing.

    I mean, having the option to play against people "in general" vs playing other people from another platform is a milestone difference because the breakthrough is having to play people at all.

    Having the option is cool, but after witnessing Vita/PS3 DOA crossplay, I think DOA is a more taxing experience because of how heavy precise the game needs to be.

    Course crossplay would be sick and I support, but they definitely really need to take the time on that one. Getting it to even be accepted by the mothership platform companies is hard alone.

    What, a VA told people Dante would get into Smash or something? lol. Honestly, I kinda find it weird so many people are taking stock in his comment just because he's a VA. But you never know, I guess. In recent actual news related to this, the MvC3 and TvC producer left Capcom. Not a positive sign for me.

    Think this VA in particular had an interview where he said that he'd be happy if V (the character he voices) would make it into Smash or into the next MvC game (he wants a character that he voice acted to make it into one of the two games one day, since he's a rather big fan of both) but not before Dante. People basically thought that this confirmed Dante coming to Smash, which he deconfirmed shortly after.

    Still, this Tweet looks like it was done on purpose plus with the EVO MvC2 tournament coming soon + qualifier tournaments as well? We might just get an announcement at the EVO tournament about MvC, ummmm, 4 I guess?

    it's weird cause in the patch notes they'll refer to moves and stances with an official name, but in the game they're nowhere to be found, so they do have 'em, they just not in game. why that's the case i have no idea, laziness, maybe they forgot, the intern fcked up, who knows

    Just checked out his videos for Rig and Hwoarang. For certain Tekken and DoA characters, I could see their whole movelists as doable in real life, but since DoA1 that's one move of leifang's that I saw as more on the impossible side, lol.

    Damn, unlocking everything the legit way in DoA2H is a pain. Right now trying to get 1.5mil points in Survival. No idea how I'm gonna reach 50 wins for the next costume. Anyone ever do these and remember any tips? lol. DoA1s were cake compared to this.

    hold up, can't you unlock costumes 1 by 1 by just repeating story mode and time attack, at least that's how it was on dreamcast version, dunno about the PS2

    No, not in DoA2H, I've checked a lot of faqs and tried it myself. You can unlock the first costume by beating arcade once with any settings, then the 2nd costume by beating the game again on normal settings. After that you're in survival mode XD. DoA1 was the way you said, and I just 100% completed DoA1 PS1 and DoA1U so I'm sure (so much easier than this in hindsight, lol).

    Oh, and I'm pretty sure you could unlock costumes that way in DoA2U on Xbox as well.

    DoA6 actually needs more hurdles, lol. And I didnt even think about it when I posted, but today it IS sunny here, but I'm actually someone who prefers stormy days and the night, but whatever... gives me a reason to wear my shades when if I go out :cool: but its also very very windy D: so... maybe not.

    How is it possible Xbox One's controller runs on AAs this day in age? What's worse is that if they get knocked out and the controller turns off, DoA6 automatically disconnects you from the match. Why penalize the person who didnt disconnect? Let the person who's battery fell out get pummeled. Even if it was an accident it shouldnt affect the other person at least.

    Yeah, I hate that XBone controllers still run on AA batteries. Prefer just being able to charge my controller like on the PS4 or Switch.

    No I meant the play and charge knockoffs..you can get way better charge times out those than you could with AA batteries.

    Oh, really? I would have assumed those packs wouldnt be so different in power than rechargable AAs. I'll look into it. But I'd rather not have to deal with batteries at all... I'd prefer to get my hands on a good controller with a rechargable battery built in or even a wired one. I loved Hori Gem for Xbox 360 but I couldnt find one available for Xbox One.
