You don't look weird to me. In fact you look quite handsome in your avatar

I think the real problem here is that you like serious fighters. And you tend to make a distinction between male and female because from your point of view males are serious fighters, while women are just sexual fanservice.
I didn't fully realize it but I think you might have a point.
I don't "hate" them, but I don't like comic characters that much. A bit here and there is fine but when developers overdo it then it kinda rubs me the wrong way (talking in general, not specifically about DoA).
When it comes to Female vs Male you're right and wrong at the same time.
I love female characters when they're serious about it. Strangely enough in DoA I've mostly been playing female characters and my absolute favourite one is Helena.
It's not that female fighters can't be serious (all in all DoA ones are pretty serious), it's that some times in these games, developers transform them into just sexual objects to create fanservice for horny/geeky teenagers who want to see as less cloths as possible, if you get what I mean.
I find that annoying and I'm *scared* that DoA might get that that point eventually, in the future.
DoA is not there yet, but the way it's taken throughout DoA5 and its patches/DLC isn't too promising either.
I think Kronin worded this fear of mine much better so maybe you should just read his post, I think he got straight to the point.
I'd love to see more male "serious" fighters because I don't think there are many and because DoA5 (and its following updates) didn't really bring many new faces into the roster.
Also because I know they can't exceed with fanservice with male characters (because that would be considered "gay" maybe? Dunno) so it's kinda guaranteed that if they add a male character they can't possibly fuck it up with preposterous/debateable DLCs, cutscenes, win poses etc
I'm not an aniti-fanservice guy. A bit of fanservice here and there is nice. Some swimsuits are cool, why not.
The problem is they kinda overdid it, and it's worrying me up. Just that.
I don't think I "miss" anybody either in DoA5 (Altough I wouldn't mind Genra!). More in general I think I don't really feel the necessity for additional characters, it's already got plenty.
But if they really decide they want to add more characters at all costs, then I'd personally prefer to see a new male one.
It's as simple as that
