TN is making an announcement of some kind at E3 regarding DLC and projects, right now we can rule Momiji and a new stage out out. Probably (official) Leon and more characters and at least one more stage.

Can I just point out, if no one has said it yet, that Majestic Blue had called out almost every addition to this game months before its release...and they've all come true? I think now's about the time we start ritualistic animal sacrifices and beg him to grant us long life (and Leon).

Prediction, playable version at E3 will once again be the best version of the game. Release version will suck because TN will once again listen to the wrong people.

This really is the game we should have gotten honestly. They rushed it for financial reasons. I am just wondering how much rebalance they plan to do. The first version of Doa 5 was just a cash grab so they could make this version. They did the same thing with Ninja Gaiden. I have a feeling the game might be drasticly different. To justify itself. Unless it is Dlc or something.

... The only addition we know of at this time is Momiji as a character, Leon as a character, and one new stage...

Oh yeah, 'cause they're overflowing with expert holds, parries, floor throws, string cancels into stances, offensive holds & stances that crush.

Wait, on second thought, nope. Ninjas are no longer top-tier and certainly don't have anywhere close to "everything" from a "gameplay standpoint." Yes, Ryu has one stance-dependent parry & some expert holds but not for high/low kicks, and it comes at the price of speed, terrible low-trip string mix-ups, etc. Other ninjas have independent pros/cons as well. If you want to bitch about a character having everything, at least do it right and bitch about Lei Fang.

I would love more ninjas and I feel like Momiji has a lot of potential. If she's even 1/8th of what Ryu is, she'll easily be the second coolest character in the roster.
Obviously I'm super-stoked at the prospect of Leon returning as well. If he makes it, he will likely return to being my primary sub-main, unless Momiji impresses me more.

The story in DOA doesn't matter for anything. If we were to take the story seriously though, Hayabusa would have blown Zack the fuck up after setting him on fire and cutting him in half at that helicopter thing. After seeing how he kills his ally ninjas for being weak, he wouldn't have shown that pansy bitch any mercy.
