In any case, this is a massive low for them. They made us wait FOUR months just for it to be revealed that it's yet ANOTHER OC?! Especially after having both of Elise's SSR accessories released during the same ranking event (the first in fact)? Someone like this OC should have been released a month or two earlier.

I suspected early on the next girl was at least going to be Japanese and most likely STM based, but even still, making us wait four months and leaving the impression the next girl might potentially be a cut girl due to the girl being released right before the anniversary for DOAXVV, which airs around the same time as DOA's 25th anniversary, is probably the lowest they've ever gone. And based on some of the tweets on there in response, not counting my own, several people agreed.

Even if they will add doa girl, they'll do it next year, of course it can be related to DOA at some point, but for now we can only speculate

Spinoff or not, it's still part of the Dead or Alive franchise, so there would need to be some way to celebrate it in-game. Even if it's simply reissuing recolored SRs of various girls defaults.

And let's not forget that one of the mainstay fighters for DOA, Lisa Hamilton, debuted in the Xtreme series.

Either way, considering they not only released Elise in July (the last girl to be released that month was Leifang, and the girl following Leifang was released barely two months out), but even went as far as to make sure both of her SSR accessories were made available within the first ranking event of her paid period, I would have expected Koharu to be released sometime in September or October. I know if I were TN/KT, I definitely would have shoveled her out by mid-September rather than hold out until immediately before the anniversary due to that bit.

Yeah, not to mention ten girls, including Leifang, who originally were from the series. They really need to put the cut girls, maybe also NiCO, in, since they ARE highly requested at this point (and by that, I mean requested even by the Japanese fans/players).

I don't mind Koharu herself, but I AM miffed at how they made us wait nearly four months, and at the eve of the 4th anniversary of the game no less, instead of doing the sensible thing and releasing her in October or even September. I know if it were me, I would have made sure Koharu was released by the midpoint of October or even the beginning of the month, possibly late September at the earliest.

Yeah, and what's worse is that they made us wait four months for her rather than releasing her mid-October or, heck, mid-September, despite literally NOTHING stopping them from doing so. That was uncalled for, and ruined a perfectly good opportunity to celebrate the parent series 25th anniversary as a result. There was no excuse to hold out on her for THAT long, especially not when Elise was not only released in July, but they even went as far as to release both her SSR accessories at once rather than spacing out individual releases like they did the past girls between ranking events. If I were them and I did that kind of thing, I would have made sure Koharu was released as early as mid-September, October at the earliest.

Well, we definitely achieved a victory: Tina's definitely going to appear (most likely after Koharu). The war's far from over, however, we still need to add in Mila, Rachel, Christie, Lisa, and POSSIBLY NiCO. Let's hope the DOA 25 year anniversary is a year long event, as that might get half of them out of the way.

Aside from that, we're going to get onsens in place of the training module we have currently. And Elise and Koharu will be getting the Anniversary suits if you already gotten them earlier.

We're also getting tennis outfits, the BGM will be posted onto the official youtube channel among others. We've also got confirmation regarding the 2nd volume tickets for past SSR.

What makes everyone say Tina is getting into this? I tried looking for some indication in the vid but I could only take so much before I had to escape... lol. My god, does anyone else think the music in this game is horrible? (I guess it was worth it to see even the Japanese chat saying "lolicon!" and "this is 18?" when they were talking about Koharu at one point, rofl)

I saw the tennis outfits and them holding rackets and thought they were actually adding tennis or even badminton to the game, silly me... lol
