Consoles will never rival pc's in power....but that doesn't change the fact that they are more simplistic in nature. PC market is a niche market. Majority of people who game on pc's are playing on toasters and find the experience of consoles cheaper and better, ESPECIALLY given the current nature of PC gaming getting stupid expensive.

I don't really care what your preference is. I'm just stating the reality that PC game sales will never out pace consoles.

Personally I have switched to 100% digital. I always get to play the games immediately at midnight because theres always a pre-load, and the game is mine forever. I used to trade games and then later regret it because something came out or I felt like playing it again.. I must have bought Mass Effect games 3 times..now If i ever feel like replaying it or it gets patched for X i just re-download it. The disc versions are the same they just install off the disc instead of downloading via the internet, and some still need to connect for data because game sizes get so big these days. the disc just spins to confirm you own it and then stops. Of course I have a fast internet connection so theres that.

anyway, I played DOA5 on xbox today after not having so for a loooong time. funny people never change, so much attitude out there.. I hope when DOA6 comes out there are more friendly people playing since I know I will play it online.

Just do what I'm doin', get digital and such but if you have extra money buy physical as well or preorder it so that way when the digital game is allowed to be downloaded, you can get the content and the save data on your ps4 and then you can delete the actual digital copy once you have the physical version's data installed since I'm sure DLC and preorder content will carry over between phys. And dig.

It's costly but if that plan works to save up HDD space, it's well worth the $140 imo

I have other games I want to buy such as RE2 and DMC5. It's not worth it. Shouldn't the deluxe edition include everything? I don't get their dumb marketing!? You know what I want more than the 25 costumes? The NJ Kasumi costume I missed in the corner! Will I get everything if I waited? I might not get this game day one now and I will miss Nyotengu! I really wanted to support this game but Team Ninja are doing their best to prevent me from doing so.

deluxe pre-order is how you get everything. If you wait til after release then you have to buy nyotengu , deluxe set, phase 4 all separately and some time after launch. If you wait too long you may also miss out on the early purchase bonus costume for kasumi.

Yeah but even then I just prefer disc, takes less time to install(digital requires wifi and downloading time can vary) and if I want to make more space I can just move the data to external HDD or just delete the install rather than the whole game digitally which can take forever

To each their own but since preloading is a thing you don’t even have to wait to play the game. It installs before the game is available and once it hits the 15th you just load it and go. So you aren’t wasting any time waiting for something. And I get you want to have the costumes and you might have the extra money but it doesn’t seem worth it to buy a game for dlc to just delete it and buy a physical version especially since the physical version still has to be installed and that you’d actually have to wait for. If it were for a different console I’d see it better but eh again to each their own just doesn’t seem logically imo.

I just want Phase 4.
Same, I'm waiting for my bi icon depressed dark queen of DOA to join Kasumi. XD TN needs to at least show us a character trailer so that way we can actually see what we're spending extra money to preorder the deluxe edition for. I don't want to have to wait till it's actually release day to see what Phase 4 and Nyo can actually do, and I want to see all the deluxe costumes already.

Disc installs are much quicker, plus typically they require less space, I may keep the digital version tho but I'm gonna move it to external HDD and probably gameshare it with a friend or something or I may just gameshare it to my sister. I would have preferred if they did a physical deluxe version like they did with T7 and SC6 tho where our extra content was already included with the disc

300,000 Tekken 7 PC -- not even 500,000 for XBOX

10-20 years ago that would have been 750,000 on XBOX and 15,000 on PC . PC is getting a lot closer, and since you have a 3,000 dollar rig; you should know that better than anybody. If console gaming keeps going down the route of screwing the customer and censoring shit, I don't see it lasting like it has or it being cost effective for the price they are asking for bells and whistles we get for free on PC. I don't own a 3,000 dollar PC, and I don't need it be 10x stronger than a PS4.

I will say that your argument would have been more valid in 2004, but you can't use the same argument today. I was also at that point a console guy. Not to mention as a game collector I own nearly every console ever made in case another odd biased card is played against me this week, and since we think it's fair to mention what we own as a part of validating the argument.

They are not....Like you can't go by anecdotal evidence. It doesn't work that way. If it did then you'd have to go by my experience where I've come across more laggers on ps4 than xbox, mostly because more people use wifi on ps4 it seems than xbox.

Like your argument doesn't work. It will never change the fact that the netcode is the same. They both function exactly the same using peer-to-peer networking.
Argument? Who's arguing? Oh you are, okay then.

Is this a console wars thread, or a social media update thread? Stay on topic or make a private DM where y’all can discuss this. This thread is meant for social media updates, not some console wars bickering. It doesn’t matter what console y’all play on. People here expect social media updates, yet the last few stages are only arguments about games on console or PC. Smh...

Does it matter if it's physical or digital? The picture TN posted says at the bottom "Digital Deluxe Edition" So it has to be digital right? :(
