The only good thing that came out of it was the release date for Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, and maybe Nioh 3 if Yasuda didn't lie about it in the first place.

I picked up the news after it was done, but out of all the new stuff I just liked seeing Lumines back and it's nice to finally see a new Bloodstained. Most of the other stuff looked alright, and nice to see pretty much all of it is also coming to PC and a lot even to Xbox, lol.

Goddammit I forgot to edit this. Apparently I skipped two trailers that made the stream redeemable... the MK Legacy Kollection, and the new James Bond game I wasn't expecting to be revealed until SGF.

The Bond game is apparently a lot like Hitman since it's by the same people. I thought you'd be into the FF Tactics remaster too, actually. And I gotta admit they're doing a good job with the Kollection, they went extra by including multiple console ports of the same games... that's one of two times Capcom looked like it got the L on this day, lol.

also, Marvel Fighting game made by Arcsys? feelings are...mixed but optimistic

it's funny because with Capcom Fighting collection 2, Tomb Raider collection 2, it seems like re-releasing old game compilations in 2's is the hot trend right now, so fingers crossed we get a Kollection 2 for the 3D era games and Shaolin Monks, especially since we're most likely never getting a Shaolin Monks 2

There might be a chance that the PS2 trilogy is also included in this kollection, since apparently they have the Gameboy Advance version of Deadly Alliance in it "with more on the way". If it goes up until MK9, all of them with playable online with good rollback, then NRS made probably what'll be the best decision that they had in the past 6-7 years.

As for a Shaolin Monks 2 or a new proper Mythologies game, I think that NRS won't be making a new MK game for a while (which depending on how long the wait will be it could be a good thing), hence why we're getting this kollection.

I'm cool with MK legacy Kollection but no MK9 remaster blows.
Can't wait for Metal Gear and Silent Hill though.
Hopefully we get some DOA news by Tokyo Game Show.

MK9 remastered is the dream game we all want, but i'll take a UMK3 rerelease since alot of MK9's (and MKX's now that I think about it) gameplay was based on it

I want DOA fighting game news so badly, 6 years since DOA6, TN come on (at least they have free Q1 release window for now and DOA will celebrate 30th anniversary next year )

Welp, it took two years but now every SF6 characters has a whopping 3 costumes! I will never understand SF6's aversion to alternates, it's just leaving free money on the table imo

though I guess it's better than the SFV costume situation where favoritism lead to some characters *coughChunLicough* with 20 high quality alternates while others only got 3-4 that weren't even that good; at least in SF6 everyone gets nice alternates and their doled out at a semi equal rate so there are no haves and have-nots

What I find interesting is that DOA6 has had Mai & Kula available to purchase far longer than Mai was available for DOA5 (3 years).

I'm sure the new Saudi-owned SNK doesn't mind, pretty much free money for them. But yeah, this month makes it 6 years of DOA6 Mai & Kula. Didn't think that KT would be using the license for this long especially after the plug being pulled on DOA5LR Mai somewhat quickly.

KT wanted DOA6 sales instead of Mai for LR. Honestly 6 years of license is pretty impressive. Since KT paid for the license, one can wonder how long the deal was for.
Wonder how long Mai license will last for SF6.

It seems like the three years would be it, but maybe the three years was for DOA6 vanilla and the other 3 years were intended for DOA6+ and they just cancelled it and kept the contract for the characters in place. If that is the case, they will be delisted within a year I imagine.

My belief is they will release a DOA6+ especially after advertising the DOA6 brand on their last DOAXVV show.
