Character you dont like fighting?

Shut it, Brute! All I said was, I'd have a tough time winning! But since we're only the subject, don't tourneys seem hum-drum since we usually solely see top tier characters? Look, I don't want this to be a pissing match between us, but you are doing like most and not helping!!
You chose a character who is fundamentally intended to be lopsided and you are complaining that the character is not balanced. Your grievances are entirely self-imposed from picking such a silly character.

Basically every post you make on the subject is a passive-aggressive jab at anyone in the community who isn't shedding crocodile tears for Alpha players. Each new post does not contribute new insight into the matter. It's the same subject reworded over and over again. If I'm interpreting this correctly...
my MU knowledge lacks severly - I tend to think Alpha's the worst against anybody (stats be damned)
...then essentially what you are saying is that while your MU knowledge is lacking, you still feel like every MU is Alpha's "worst," which is simply preposterous. The only gain that could be made from such a statement would be an attempt for sympathy or a flippant display of disregard for what you believe to be the common opinion of the character. I'm not particularly keen on either.

I'm just gonna throw this out here...

Treat everyone like your toughest opponent, regardless of the character you play or whom you play against. It's the best motivator to overcome the matchups you have trouble with. At the same time, don't downplay your own character's strengths, or exaggerate their weaknesses. Turn them in your favor with the knowledge you have of the opposing character, study the player's habits, and hope for the best. Some battles may be uphill, others may be even or downhill. But it's all on you if you give up.

I still so goddamn hate ayane so much. Billion jabs that all launch, seems to have zero recovery time on anything, and just passes through freaking everything I throw at her.

With Ayanes its like what's the fucking point? She's gonna beat out everything I do just by mashing anyway.

Also Rachel. *yawns as I wait for Rachel's combos to end*

I don't get it, why wouldn't you be baiting your opponent into a throw that does over 100 damage wow, That literally is one of her best tools

Did you read? "If I could pull it off ..." (ie: consistently). I do just fine with the other throws though.

Did you say this when everybody was bitching in doa4? "She's broken!" Did you say this? Everybody bitched, but was the character fixed? No. It's odd since most cry nerfs when it comes to such an "unbeatable" character. You keep saying she's fundamentally flawed. I'm saying I'm making the best with that flaw; yet, when everybody can do the same shit (rush) and call it a day (she can too but there's no risk involved rushing Alpha - that's the popular belief).

But back to the topic at hand, if she were designed properly, (you keep saying flawed -- not me -- you!), wouldn't she be like everyone else? People keep saying, she plays differently and you have to play her differently. But wait! Can't everyone else get rushed just as hard? I don't get it! I play Helena, too and she gets more respect and I don't pull her shit either! Look, I understand what you're saying, I really do, but again, you're not telling me how to deal with the design flaw that she has -- just that she has it! Two totally different things!

Did I say that Alpha was "broken" in DOA4 when she wasn't even a playable character?
I hardly see how that matters but yes, I did, as did most everyone.

It's like someone diving into the ocean with an anvil tied to their ankle asking how to "deal with the design flaw." The design is inherently (that's the keyword here) flawed by design. The solution is pick another character, or ask TN to change your character into a completely different one, which is essentially the same thing.

P-P-P-P-P-P-POWER!
I suppose its a bad time to mention she's actually overpowered as all hell, is the only character in the game who has function of doing enough damage after two stun-based confrontations to end a round instead of three without use of a power blow/launcher, and the downfalls of being unable to wakeup kick are already made entirely irrelevant during top-tier matchups where wakeup is already denied 99% of the time.

But that's none of my business.

@Intelligent Alpha please start learning how to do burst which really isn't that hard(god forbid there's ever a fucking pretzel motion in this game) and i'm also assuming since you can't do b.u.r.s.t you probably can't do r.u.s.h either

those are two of alpha's best tools, go into the damn lab and learn it until you can get it off constantly, you can ask most people i also have played with whenever i see an alpha and i don't see one of those two moves i automatically think they're a button masher

so go lab it up

I hate fighting against Virtua Fighter characters I find DOA5 retarded just because of this (I know some people have emotional feelings about this crossover) I don't care their stupid sex abuse but mixing the game with another game loosely? Actually they perfectly added them to the game. Should I say amazing? It looks amazing though seeing Sarah and Jacky in new graphic engine etc sure looks amazing. They are not top tier and they aren't annoying or anything but I hate them in DOA5. I like Virtua Fighter I play it sometimes....Imagine those Virtua Fighter characters as a new DOA character slots......wasted chance but easy copy paste though lol...

The VF mechanics just do NOT work with DOA's system. The stun system was intended for full length, fluid movements. But the VF jab, twitch and poke at what I like to call "Spritespeed", which is far faster than DOA was intended for. It just completely clashes with the system. So while I won't say they are OP (Its just high speed pokes like Christie, but a LOT less readable), I will say they are broken.

Plus its absolutely bullshit how like, Sarah can just combo, launch, and juggle you right off the ground. The properties of their moves are downright nonsensical in DOA's system.

The VF characters are no faster than the faster DOA characters. Learn their frames and movesets (though they are considerably safer than the average DOA character). IMO, they fit in surprisingly well and are interesting to fight to say the least. Don't let Match-Up ignorance get the better of you!

:jacky: Learn his strings. I'll give a hint, a lot of his strings tend to be mostly high and his lows, like 6PP2K (Mid-High-Low) & 4P2K (High-Low) tend to be obvious after a while. The third hit (or last hit) of most strings is usually quite unsafe, especially if not a GB.

:rig: Lol, Hi-Crush and SS =P! Rig tends to maintain pressure with attacks that transition into Flamingo along with mostly highs. He'll try to open you up with lows and the Bend Stance~Throw. So if he goes into Bend Stance, either hi-crush with a 2P or SS. Be wary of his GB's too such as Bend~7K (unsure of the notation).

For Jacky and particularly Rig, don't panic when on the defensive and pay attention to frames.

:marierose: Space her ass xD!
