Reminds me of when i met people who claimed im a furry because i grew up a sonic fan.

haha. I'm just saying "has a tail" isn't enough to qualify as "furry" per se, in my opinion. Hypersexualized anthropomorphic animals is "furry". Minerva Mink being the crowning example.
Big difference between elf ears/tail and this. Notice the highly-sexualized, fur-covered anthropomorphic character? That's about as furry as you get.

on topic: I find it funny that so many people are upset when a character doesn't get a new hair color. The alt hair colors look awful, generally speaking.

I do agree she qualifies as a furry, however. But like I said, that's not why I like her.
On the hair, its more the point that TN is really inconsistent with who gets their hair changed to fit the costume and who doesn't.

I do agree about TN's fur deficiency, though. I was pretty bummed upon seeing Gen Fu's arm fuzzies in DOA5 coming from how they looked in DOA4. In an odd twist, TN is actually pretty good at feather effects.
Don't forget the loose hair. Ngl, TN is good at making well animated and detailed tied hair styles and braids and the like, but their depiction of loose hair is worse than DOA4. To them, realistic hair is very thin and half the length that is when tied up. Marie Rose and Kasumi are perfect examples, Momiji tooIf you only knew the power of inductive reasoning.

Curious question. Has DOA become an anime fighter now? details on game genres have this game listed as "Anime Fighter" (IGN, Gamespot, and Steam for example). I suppose stuff like this might be one of the reasons I guess. If you must know, it was "never" listed as anime fighter. Ever.
