    Again, Rangchu proved with Panda by winning the TWT finals a year ago that top tiers aren't going to automatically get you in a top 8 or win you a tournament. Yes, high or top tier character will enable you to do more, or better than you would with a low tier character but lets just look at the amount of Jacks and Dragunovs that didn't win EVO or TWT in S1, or the Chun-Li's in the first season of SFV.

    Hitomi was only ever considered low tier by Hitomi players.
    But for what it's worth, the tone of this status suggests that character tiers alone don't dictate tournament outcomes and vice versa, which is the opposite position than the one you took three days ago.

    The reality of the situation is that DOA6 is fun, but the Nioh 2 beta has more game than the full release of our favorite fighter. :( I can't believe how badly I actually want Hayashi on DOA again.

    Shimbori kinda of screwed himself... But Itagaki had passion for DOA and DOA5 was a Hayashi production and was better than DOA6.

    Hayashi just scheduled people, ran budget, and negotiated the contracts for crossover content. He had nothing to do with 5's direction. Was all Shimbori.

    And from conversations we've had with Shimbori, it became clear his producer role in 6 rendered him useless as a director, hence Nakamura stepping up and fucking everything over.

    So I wouldn't really say Shimbori screwed himself, except for the EVO incident. He definitely screwed himself there. Everything else was the company screwing him. There is no way he could take on as much work as they were expecting of him and produce a good result. He had too many projects.

    Can someone please point me out how to unlock lore 65 post glitch? I know it has something to do with Nyo-Tengu. I've replayed her story mode and DOA quest to no avail.

    I have been told that it is unlocked by reaching Fighter Level 60 with Nyotengu, which is possible since I do have the entry unlocked and have Nyotengu at level 60. But I can't confirm 100%.

    Just because a character doesn't look good on paper doesn't mean they suck. Sometimes you just have to play with what you know and what you like until you get it right and people are proving it at tournaments.

    Didn't Rangchu prove almost a year ago that tier lists don't matter as much as players think that they do? Sure, a high tier or a top tier character has a bigger/better chance at winning a tournament than a low-tier one but at the end of the day its all about the skill of the player that determines his/her win or loss in a tournament.
