    so, do we have any clue if/when nyo and phase 4 will be available for seperate purchase or are they forever pre-order bonuses?

    I feel like it is going to be available day1? Otherwise if you missed pre-order, but bought the season pass, how are you going to use the Nyotengu outfit?

    Its not going to be available tomorrow... When you buy a season pass you should do so with the understanding that it will include content for characters that may be themselves sold separately.

    nyotengu available on day 1 =0, no phase 4 though, gotta spend 100$ for that privilege

    some characters seem to have incredible difficulty comboing into their bounds, while others can get it for free pretty much every time (looking at you kasumi)

    Quick DOA6 storymode review, it's short and entertaining but it feels like chunks of it are missing, 8/10 would play again

    They might take the Dissidia NT route where with each character they add, the story gets expanded with new event cutscenes for you to play on in story. Dissidia NT was also made by TN so they might do something similar like that.

    Starters look like Wooper in cosplay. Color me "Praying for Pokebank compatibility so I can use Gen 4 or 1 starters."

    Sobble is the only one that kinda appeals to me, even though normally i start with grass types, but i hate how they're all cute, normally with starters you have the cute one, the edgy one, and the generic one, but all this batch is just all cute :/

    i know as a doa player im supposed to be all "oh noes no doa at evo! we deserve the spot, etc", but honestly im more upset at that melee is gone, wanted to see leffen defend his title, now that sway haired fool gets to be the last melee evo champ uncontested :mad:

    I heard that mr wiz was tired of running 2 smash games and the problems it created. But then again melee isn't going anywhere with that much support.

    @oMASTER LEGENDo yeah i know, melee has too much support to just drop off the face of the planet, but losing evo, where it always was the biggest draw, will hurt more than help

    man, when i saw that nyotengu got a new 46P+k i thought karate death fist and i got hard, but looking at the frames and the range, i now only have a half chub :/

    Just got my hands on a copy of doa6 and my first thought is "good lord this box art is uninspired", BUT...

    To be honest, I wish that they added Hayabusa or Hayate to the North American boxart (and of course possibly Ayane). I really hate to be this guy, but videogames with a woman front & centre on the cover generally don't sell as well as a male in comparison. Something like Tomb Raider reboot is an exception.

    between this love max six star what they hell's this trend of putting niche japanese anime fighters on PC's in the west? seems like ps4 would be the perfect spot for that thing but nope, just put that shit on steam where no one will play it

    since Jann lee and Lisa lost their ability to combo of their jabs on NH (p6p and pkk respectively) makes me wonder if nyo has also lost that ability and they've gone back the doa4 tengu 5pp (where nothing combos after the first p on NH)

    No Nyotengu hasnt lost the ability for pp to stun on NH. When playing demo and testing her out she could follow up on it. She has new moves and 6pk is nice.

    I have learned the secret to consistently pulling off Bass TFBB, hello 50% hi counter throws:)

    Perform a 2P beforehand then 64T?

    naw, hold down foward and roll counter clockwise to back, doing it like this there's very little chance it'll overlap with any other throw command. i tried doing it the 364T way but Bass has so many command throws that it's WAY too easy to overlap with another command and get a completely different throw

    Oh, nice. Yeah doing stuff like 3364T can buffer other stuff (though can also be used to bait stuff to hit people with a 33P instead if they don't hold). I usually perform a 2P to setup While Rising moves.

    I guess bass and raidou are the only big bodies since Leon's no longer in the game and bayman went on a crash diet
