    I do wonder how the hell the Tekken team managed to pull off such a good and balanced second season for Tekken 7. Every game (excluding T1 because I don't really know much about it competitively) had relatively bad character balancing: T2: Mishimas very strong, T3: Jin strong, TTT: Mishimas and Double Ogres T4: Jin sitting in a tier of his own, very few could match him.

    T5: Steve being probably the most broken and competitively playable character in the history of fighting games, not only that, 6 characters including Steve were super strong and the rest weren't close to them at all. T5 DR: Mishimas again T6: Bob TTT2: This game actually had ok-ish balancing but the amount of double lilis, laws, kings, capos online...T7 S1: Jack and Dragunov, S3: We all know who.

    Darksiders 1 Warmastered > Darksiders 2 Deathnitive > Darksiders 3 (haven't played DS3 yet but from what I've seen on the internet and heard from a couple of players, I think It'd be the weakest DS title for me). Whats the situation with Genesis though, is it good? Also, I do hope that Genesis won't be Strife's actual game/main game, that'd be slightly disappointing.

    im pretty sure Genesis is just a prequel side game that's setting up Strife's actual game, since it takes place before the other 3, so as a little distraction before the real Darksiders 4 comes out, it's alright, just a classic twinstick shooter

    P.S. Darksiders 3 is actually my favorite of the main game, mostly cause it takes inspiration from Dark Souls and i luv me some Dark Souls

    Ok, thats good. I don't't remember the makers of the game saying whether we should see Genesis as a Darksiders 4 or not but since it wasn't named Darksiders 4, most people came to the conclusion that it is not a main game in the series. Yeah, I know about DS3 being Dark Souls-ish from the few gameplay trailers and demos that were shown early on. Every main title has something in common

    with other games or other types of games: DS1= literally God of War, DS2= very action-adventure, hack and slashy game but yet they have something that differentiates themselves from said games or game types, like just-frame attacks for instance and also the combat sort of feels unique in Darksiders.

    MK11 not being on the official EVO line-up while Marvel vs Capcom 2 of all things makes it and not Ultimate MvC3 or a Blazblue game or Guilty Gear Xrd? This is some weird stuff.

    MK11 fucked up at EVO last year which may put future MK (or NRS) games in jeopardy with regards to EVO. BBTag got the lowest entrants of the main games at EVO last year including a large dropoff from 2018. GranBlue Fantasy Versus is technically an Anime Fighter if it matters. MK11 can still do their own thing if they want.

    @Force_of_Nature - I'm not into MK so I don't follow its happenings much, but I'm curious, what happeend last year? That's directly the reason why it's not in this year?

    @Force_of_Nature In a way, seeing BBTag not making it in is slightly sad because I do feel that 2.0 reinvigorated the game and it had more entrants than Samsho and SC6 at EVO Japan but yeah, they have Granblue and DBZF and UNICLR as main game titles at EVO. Have more than that and we might as well call EVO a bigger ANIMEVO at this point. MK11 screwed up at EVO? What happened?

    Even though Book won the tournament, I feel that Mikio was the real champion of EVO Japan's T7 tournament and he deserves it.

    wouldn't go that far, books jin is still a problem. If miko pushed book into losers then maybe.

    I feel that if a new fate would be coming to BBTag, then it'd be either from Melty Blood or from a KT game maybe. If that were to happen, then on the KT side the obvious choice would be DOA, the interesting but at the same time not insanely surprising choice would be Atelier and the one that I'd be happy the most would be Nights of Azure.

    What Marvelous could do with the Senran Kagura franchise after 7EVEN comes out (hopefully): SK2: Deep Crimson Re:Newal, new/3rd dimension where they canonically incorporate some if not all the new characters from the New Link mobile game (think that game is completely non-canon, right?) while retaining the old Musou-esque gameplay and continue the SV-EV dimension's story post 7EVEN.

    7even is allegedly the conclusion of the series story. Anything they do after that will likely just be random spinoffs like the Switch games. Or they can drop the series like they did with Valkyrie Drive and focus on Jet Girls moving forward.

    Can. We. Stop. Adding. More. Fire. Emblem. Characters. In. Smash. For. Christ's. Sake. Seriously, I get it, Fire Emblem is one of Nintendo's most knows franchises now and Three Houses did well but, for crying out loud, 1/7th or 1/8th of the cast is made of FE characters....in a 70 character roster. Character seems ok though gameplay-wise.

    Tales characters could be excellent guest characters in many games. Lloyd and Cress would be good guest characters in Smash while Velvet and Luke or Asch or Sorey would be good additions to BBTag in my opinion.

    Soul Edge/Calibur has the best casual content in a fighting game, seriously.

    He is comparing to other modern-day fighting games. I could be wrong, but that is likely.

    @GreatDarkHero I'm referring to those,yes but mainly to the more competitive fighting games that try to create and want to have an esports scene but in the casual content perspective SC always beats its competitors. @SaihateDYNAMO Of course I refer to 6 as well, at least they tried to do something for people who enjoy the casual aspect of a game as well, unlike the rest these days.

    Their definitely the best with single player content from mission modes, unlockables, & most importantly character creation mode. I spend alot of time in character creation mode recreating every characters from previous installment.

    if you're not a stickler for playing on original hardware, i'd say start with REmake and Zero, then play Resident Evil 2(2019), then watch a playthrough of RE3 to get caught up on the story (or just wait for R3make), then hop on to RE4,5, and 6 which have been ported to literally everything and are super cheap to pick up

    also there's the Revelation games which are spinoffs but are incredibly well made and fun

    Yo Homeslice, play RE:make on first, get the feel of survival horror in a new package first, and If you enjoy that kind of gameplay, proceed to REØ.
    If you dont like the old school RE style, play RE4, 5,6 and Revelatinos games

    Next year won't be too bad for gaming now that I think about it: Granblue Fantasy Versus and Relink, new guilty gear, persona 5 new version, under night new version, tales of arise, re3 remake, nioh 2 and I'm pretty sure that I'm forgetting about more amazing games coming out next year.

    Belial looks like a cool character, he's giving me like 60% Hazama vibes and 40% chill vibes. I'm still hoping that Beatrix makes it in the game either in SP1 or 2. Also, yay, we're doing the BBTag stuff all over again, half the roster is going to be dlc and we already know about it 3-4 months prior to GBFVS's release.

    Damn, there's an entry cap for EVO Japan's Smash Ultimate tournament. From what I've seen and heard so far though, it probably is this way because of a lot of casuals participating, just like how it was with this year's Smash tournament at EVO (had more than a thousand participants compared to SFV).

    Best timeline: DOA6U gets released on PS5, Xfridge and PC and fixes previous problems+better content leading up to and after 6U next year, Kasumi for SP4 of T7.
    Worst timeline: TN/KT messing up DOA6 more and more+enough negative feedback that DOA would die for good.

    Seriously, the best moment of TGA was about the Te-Ken fighting game that those two like to play (and FF7R I guess, even though I don't remember seeing a lot of new stuff about it in this TGA trailer). The Game Awards? More like The Lame Awards.

    Vin Diesel is legitimately a huge D&D fan and has told a bunch of stories about him and Paul Walker spending too many hours playing WoW. Mayte pronouncing Tekken the way she did could easily just be an accent thing. I've heard it pronounced worse from people that have played it for years.

    Got to give credit to Capcom where credit needs to be given, it was a good call from them to make RE: Resistance, a game that wasn't too welcomed by people an online mode to/in RE3: Remake.
