    Does anyone know a good program that I can use in order to play with my PS3 controller on PC that doesn't need motioninjoy and also wouldn't mess up anything regarding the ps4 controller's usage and/or the DS4 program on PC? Last time I used Better DS3 but surely there are better options than that since then, right?

    Download "Playstation Now" on PC since it comes with it's own Playstation drivers.

    1) Download PS Now (you can uninstall PS now after since that's what I did but you can keep the drivers that came with it)
    2) Hook up the PS3 controller
    3) Adjust any settings and check if it's powered on the USB

    4) Before installing drivers, make sure to remove any previous settings on Steam including 3rd party apps such as MotionJoy, DS4 etc. as it can cause the driver to influx itself (double inputs etc.) So before installing PS Now, uninstall anything Playstation 3/4 controller 3rd party related. Once uninstalled, you can then install all PS3 and PS4 controller support.

    5) Reconfigure Steam controls and turn on Playstation support. And done.

    Added note. For any games outside of Steam (something like Origins list of games etc.), you have to manually add the game as a Non-Steam game product into your Steam Library to force the PS drivers to play those games that were not originally on Steam.

    Some players got early access to S4 patches that apparently Bamco gave out to them a day before the start of the new season. That's a very interesting decision, a good couple of people are already pissed off by this. Not the best start to a season that would've started a redemption arc for your game.

    The hardest part of making videos and trying to upload them one after another with little time gaps between one another is definitely time management. Making videos by playing games, playing games just for fun, going to work, handle other affairs, getting enough rest, its definitely a lot and it'll take me some time to be able to do almost everything in time and consistently but its fun.

    Like, there was a three weeks gap between 2 Crash 3 walkthrough videos and I was sitting on a couple videos that I could've uploaded, I just needed to do some basic editing but I didn't really had the time for that and at other times I wasn't in the mood to do it but I'm almost done uploading the entire walkthrough, it can take a while to be able to multitask like that I suppose.

    Ok, Mu-12 will be a character that I definitely need to practice A LOT before even getting a small amount of confidence to use her online in BBCF.

    Going through her combo challenges is interesting since you'll find out that you can cancel drive moves with C attacks, using the right combination isn't easy, her kit sort of seems to be made of a little bit of zoning, offense and if you have the corner then setplay, being good at all of them isn't easy. She's sort of my main along (and mainly with) Noel but Noel is far easier to use but not as good as Mu.

    Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy the days when CP was the newest Blazblue game in the franchise, even though I do have the game right now to play it a bit more casually but I can tell you that she is/was also damn fun in CSEX too, less setplay with that version of her and no C cancels from her drive but that corner damage though.

    Ok, thats not Hwang/Yun but I don't think that its Algol either unless he goes through a complete costume redesign and it looks way too wild for Lizardman/Aeon. New character maybe?

    If it is a returning character then Algol is the only one I want, but he needs to be wearing armor like in SC4. His underwear outfit in SC5 was horrible.

    Makes you wonder what goes through Bamco's character costume designers head at times when they make these costumes, since Heihachi in Tekken 4 had a diaper/underwear costume as well.

    Not sure if it would be a new character, but that would be pretty cool. I hope it's not Algol, the character was awful in SCV and wouldn't want to see him in SCVI. Already have Azwel to fill the dumb boss character quota.

    Can anyone recommend me a headset that I can use for PS3, is still on the cheaper side of things somewhat and it is still purchasable online? Because that PS3 is running on that ancient tech of having to plug your headset into the TV for sound output.

    Ok, I didn't know that most of the HD TV's these days have a headphone/earphone slot where you can just simply plug in your device and it'll work no problem. Cable length also became a slight issue but 3m is more than enough. Now that I know what I need to look for, I'll try to find something close to this headset's quality but for a cheaper price, still, I'll keep this in mind. Thanks!

    Why is Hollow Knight so damn addicting? There's just so much stuff to explore, learn and get in that game and the boss fights and platforming are varied and at times quite hard. Silksong might be far away but I have a feeling that it'll be amazing just like the first game. Definitely recommending Hollow Knight for people who like Metroidvanias, especially since the base game plus dlc is like 20 euros.

    As a Dark Souls fan Hollow Knight is one of those games that gets recommended to me on the regular, I'm guessing cause on an atmospheric level they share similarities and its hard as balls, still haven't gotten around to playing but i will one day

    They do, certain parts of the game truly become dark and there are creatures that are a bit disgusting the deeper you're going in, so it does slightly feel like Dark Souls when it comes to the atmosphere of 80-85% of the stages. The game isn't insanely hard but some side quests can definitely test your platforming and combat skills, it is a very fun game overall.

    If only as many people played BBCF and Tag as many are whining about BBTag being dead for the umpteenth time, we'd be able to find more matches than in games like SF5 or Tekken 7.

    remember, when most folks claim a game is dead, what they're actually saying "im bored with the game", how that translates it into being dead i have no idea but it does lead to hilarious scenarios like T7, SF5, and MK11 players claiming their game when they most certainly are not, in other words, don't sweat it bra

    Fighting games aren't going to be receiving the attention those games are getting anytime soon, thats for sure (if ever). Its just that, there are far more people saying that they "play" these fighting games but then they have way too many excuses with which they do the opposite. There could be a lot more players online, which would be super useful for anything that isn't SFV or T7.

    Yuel looks like a character I'd like to play. Depending on her tools/kit she might be my secondary instead of Zeta, on the month when I'd like to get the game too, December can't come soon enough.

    You can probably go ask GBF people about her playstyle because I remember them discussing Zoey's playstyle before she was released and they were pretty accurate. The characters don't stray far from the original game it seems.

    A cool thing about the 2 Hayabusa bosses in Nioh is that Jin in Nioh 1 has an outfit that resembles the old NES NG Ryu's outfit, meanwhile Ren in Nioh 2 has a costume that looks more similar to reboot NG Ryu's outfit. Wonder if they'll give the next Hayabusa ancestor an original outfit when Nioh 3 is going to be a thing.

    GG+R is getting rollback. Will that make people play it more over Xrd? No, its a very old game now and not the last entry in the franchise but it still should lead to an increase in players online. Personally can't wait to try it out, had purchased the game a long time ago but never bothered with it because of Xrd mainly, well, now I have a reason to do so.

    Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is free on Steam as part of Sega's 60th anniversary celebration. For people who haven't tried the game out yet, please do, at times it can get frustrating but its a great game, definitely a good first entry for someone who'd like to try out a STH game.

I'd laugh my ass off if the last character who's going to get a trailer alongside Anji would be A.B.A or Testament or one of the more unpopular characters.     Jesus, Sega, the hell were you feeding these CPU's when you made VF4E. Even on Very Easy there are times when they read you like an open book on the later stages of arcade mode, normal difficulty gets ridiculous after a while, got my ass destroyed on Stage 8 by Lau.

    The SC3 CPUs are starting to get bullshit around hard difiiculty and only with the last boss (and Setsuka but she's a pain to fight regardless of difficulty) but this was something else. Ah well, maybe I overreacted though, this is my first VF game and it does play different than all the other fighting games, might just need to get used to it.

    Interesting Twitter post ASW. Some fans who play their games more competitively did point out that it is unfortunate that their meme, horny and shitposts receive way more likes and retweets than their tournament tweets, while others say that they should be promoting that more instead of doing memes and horny posts which makes them look unprofessional.

    Which is true but then again we have the same people who said this liking revealing arts of some characters at times and then we also have professional players who post or like weird meme, horny or shitposts, should we only start expecting tournament-related posts from them too + expect them to act professionally all the time? Plus, most fans don't care about the tournaments that these games are having.

    Like they forgot that the majority of any fighting game's fanbase is casual outside of a select few games' fanbase like Street Fighter 5's, partially because of how ass SFV was for four years as a casual game and how the competitive scene carried the game on its back. Chances are that people are going to like waifu and meme tweets more than tournament related tweets any day of the week, regardless of the game.

    Another point for fighting game leaks being true. Can we expect every fighting game leak to be true from now on? Also, I'm kind of glad that I've been sitting out MK11 until now, can get all that content for full price with the Ultimate version instead of spending god knows how much people payed for MK11 + Aftermath + KP2 soon.

    Well, yeah, for me it doesn't really matter, I'll play my mains and other characters if I feel like it both in ranked and in lobbies, its just that I'd be finding games easier/faster if lobbies were a thing on PC most probably. Should just buy Ein on PSN and download CF for PS4, may have enough storage on the console to do that.

    Playing Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution made me realize that Virtua Fighter is indeed the deepest 3D FG out there, maybe the hardest one to get good at as well. The amount of things you can do in this game and the amount of things your opponent can do to counter you is insane, legit feels like playing chess in a fighting game. If 5FS feels this way too then I'll have a lot of fun with these games.

    It's all based on your opponent. The difficulty of the match. Tiers essentially don't exist. The throw game was deeper in VF4 in terms of how you had to tech, 3s, Full circles, all had to be teched exactly. JP players just struck out instead of teching lol If you check out the VF thread here, I literally explain practically everything

    I have alot of fond memories with 4evo, haven't touched it in years so I don't know if it holds up, but I did like it more that 5FS, but 5FS was a budget title and it really shows (no quest mode/kumite, no unlockable customization items, graphics kinda meh), they did streamline some stuff in 5FS so I appreciate that, but I prefer 4evo overall (never played FT)
