DOA6 has DOA4 wallsplat restands now. Not sure how to feel about that, mixed. If you wallsplat someone in my opinion, you deserve that damage. A player should not have the option to escape let alone hold the moment you touch the wall, meter/break hold or not.

About the SDS change, not sure why people are annoyed by that. You can condition someone to burn up their meter, you can still land guaranteed mids when they don't have meter to support them, this was compensation for lack of SE. This was a positive change imo.
Congratulations to Harada on his promotion to supervisor and leader for T7, DBFZ, and SC for game tournaments, tour, and esports. According to his twitter he sounded like he saved DBFZ from it's demise, but also found out that it wasn't a Toei issue, it was something else entirely.
So I hear one of the reasons from Toei (the owners of the Dragonball franchise license currently) is that they want huge royalties from tournament hostings regarding DBFZ. They practically made DBFZ a one time thing basically, ArcSystem Works EVEN had plans to make more Dragonball games.
Lots of companies for fighting games are dealing with licensing issues (DBFZ) and fighting games are just getting dominated and controlled by other competitive genres, but not having those great licenses in general will just make regular fighting games not go anywhere (like usual), sucks but it's the way the world goes.
