Both? Who else is there, I just saw your comment and Grunt's xD Also I max level capped in libra mode, it's level 99 in case anyone wanted to know and the max hp cap is 864 but idk if it varies on style since I've only used the style of Sophitia. All I have is Azwel and that bitch Sophitia ancient to defeat and then I'm finished, no more good weapons are spawning since I level capped so after I beat this last level I'll convert my gold to soul points to unlock some museum items, they're way too overpriced tho >.>
You and Onryoki.

Yeah, the gallery is overpriced. Just finished purchasing all the customization items and my eyes are rolling seeing the prices of the image gallery o_O

Please don’t mention me and him in the same sentence, don’t like that guy.

I like the new characters in general but it’s always nice to see returning characters in the game. Especially in Soul Calibur after the pulled of that stunt in 5 by removing 2/3rd of the cast and replacing them with bland versions of the characters they removed.

Here’s another old character creation I brought back, Rei. She was rescued by goddess Athena at the near edge of death.

Here’s a new character I’ve created. This is the witch who cursed Shelly.

Feels like i've hit the ceiling of CaS now. Much more limited than i first thought putting my Libra one together.

Too many one-piece outfits that could have been 2, 3 or even 4 components pieces
A couple of items needed another level for recolouring the details.
Not enough object things. Almost a brilliant addition but I feel with a bit of thought more usefull starting objects could have been included.
Too many gravity defying ill-fitting prominent items. "It's a belt, not a hula hoop".

you know, i'm also of the new game = new characters camp. i didn't mind V retaining only a small portion of the original cast because it still came up with new SC originals to fill the roster. if anything, i was bummed the replacement job wasn't done thoroughly.

HOWEVER, 6 has established itself as the reboot that brings back the old cast and i fully expect them to be here, before anything else. instead it stopped short of delivering the complete package and turned to DLC and crossing over FotM characters to make a quick buck. that's dumb.

What do you expect them to do? They already said that there likely won't be a sequel if the game doesn't do well, and they've already invested a good deal into the base game. Using popular veteran characters as DLC incentives as well as popular guest characters ensures that it'll get the support it needs, the devs know what theyre doing xD

i expect them to do what game developers have been doing for decades before they collectively start giving in to greed and throwing "boo hoo we don't have money" left and right: shipping a complete game. but the devs indeed do know their modern business practices well.

though they aren't getting support from people who are putting the game on hold because
1) of the possibility of a FINAL ROUND EDITION with all the DLCs and exclusive system changes a year later
2) the characters they reasonably want aren't in the base game

Yeah I don't know why. He has really strong mixups and tools in his arsenal. I mean, he always has. Crushes/evasiness, ambiguous50/50's, damage. Shame more people don't play him.
People would rather go for the 'ez wins' *cough* Nightmare *cough* instead of playing characters who require effort and skill to win with.

If a single one of those new characters was even mildly interesting, I might agree.

But somehow SCVI's lacksluster roster feels like an actual accomplishment after the shitshow that was SCV. It may feel less "complete," but I'd rather have a small portion of good than a large portion of garbage.

Though to be more accurate, SCVI is a tiny portion of okay, whereas SCV was a large portion of complete shit.

i'm not saying another V need to happen.

ironically despite missing almost every mark, V made an attempt. and it was a game made in a rush.
7 years later, what do we have? incomplete roster, recycled models, shit guests, season passes.

this series peaked with 2 and 3 and has been on a downhill slope since. VI being slightly mildly teensy weensy better than V isn't an accomplishment. that's like debating whether cancer or ebola is better.

"They already said that there likely won't be a sequel if the game doesn't do well". the least any rational person could've done is make sure they eat their words for their shoddy work.

Pretty damn sure VI was made in a rush, as well. It's obvious that the only reason SCVI even exists is because they had a little bit of wiggle room after the success of Tekken 7.

I'd argue it's more than a "slightly mildly teensy weensy better than V."

I'd say SCVI deserves about a 6/10 whereas SCV deserved a 2/10 at best.

Well, I think that the guest characters in this game are the best ones so far since Link, so no shitty guest characters for me xD

Gameplay wise; its the best most complete 3D fighter I've played in awhile. 8wayrun is fluid and sidesteps work how they're supposed to. GI is returned to it's formal glory, and every character can dish out damage. I love how characters in this game have passive traits/abilities that're activated by completing certain requirements in match (example; tira getting access to her soul charge moves without soul charge if she switches between gloomy and jolly 10x per match), I like the inclusion of reversal edge (many people seem to hate it, but once everyone understands it's weaknesses and how it should be utilized then players will realize it's not as strong as it seems). I feel like the guard meter builds up a bit too fast. My other gripe is Soul Charge. It's like level 3 x-factor for some characters. I'll get hit by a hit combo and lose 35% health.

Game is fine in the competitive department, but I think could use some small tweaks. But replayability in terms of offline content? It's no SCII or III. I'm guessing SCVI didn't have that big of a budget. It shows with the lack of content; no alternate costumes, a customization mode worse than V.

Well, after playing the epilogue of Libra of Soul, I decided to update my character and re-create it properly in the editor, so here she is. Ladies and gentlemen, Scarlet!

She's a mercenary for noble causes, but doesn't like the hero treatment unless there is a banquet along with it. A simple soul that looks for the thrill of fighting strong opponents, but doesn't want to wield his swords against simple hooligans.

The scar in her belly is from the panther of... Walde? I forgot his name. One rival NPC that appears in Africa an is and acquaintance of Drona. After showing so much bravery in that fight, the tribes give her the tattoo on her back.

After hearing how her friend Mitsurugi fought against a Tanegashima, she wanted to make a similar feat, but got shooted too xD

She lost her vision in the left eye because of one fight against Azwell, when a clash between swords made a fragment of the Soul Edge Replica pierce her eye. No way of showing her as one-eyed, though -.-"

She doesn't know shame in a social conventions way, and wears little armor because she thinks that any scar or injury is a prove of lack of skill and a reminder to improve, and if an error makes her take a fatal wound, she thinks that she deserves it and no armor should spare her incompetence. She at least wears something because Kyam was being a pain in the ass to her for walking topless on Maxi's ship deck xD

I'm kinda scared tho, by inappropriate do they mean strictly customs that are sexually explicit like the penis thing and that one scar exploit that can be used as nipple bumps, or does that also include sexually explicit outfits like say if I were to make my male create a soul only wear Voldo's undergarments and a pair of boots? o.0
