  • One character I took a strange liking to in the beta was Diego.. think it was after his shirt exploded off -shrugs-. No seriously lol, he has some strong fundamentals; one of the most honest characters I've seen. Really has to work for his deep stuns though

    They can tech this however, and in most cases you'll be around -8 and above depending on the character you use and which move you use to pursue the GH, so for some character's it's a problem and for others it's not, all depends on the character and the set up

    They have to do something about the wakeup system. I find myself backing away after every combo because I have to guess after a knock down. Theres no way to maintain momentum.

    yea try to weigh your options. In DOA6 I think whiff punishing or crushing is what we gotta do for now.

    I hate to say it, but as of now, forced techs should return since you can do Wake-up Break Blow/Wake-up Break Hold if you wanted to relieve pressure after a knockdown, and of course you would have a reason to tech roll.
    Played a few hours of the beta on xbl. Netcode has improved, but still avoiding all wifi players. There were no lobbies even though TN said there would be. Hopefully, we get them tomorrow. Game feels GREAT. Love the neutral play.

    Tina's 1p no longer causes a deep stun on CH and has some push back.

    If I'm not mistaken, most 1P's don't stun on CH now. Ayane's 1P didn't stun on CH either (however I think I heard from MASTER, that "1PP's" or "1P2K's" may be natural counterhit (NCH) combos now). But yeah, that would kind of screw over characters like Tina, Hitomi, or Honoka for instance, whom has single hit 1P's.

    I mean, would like to also add that those lows are particularly dangerous on water/slippery surfaces (stage specific I know), least for that (hopefully, would also suck if it didn't cause slip stuns).

    Honestly, I've always seen 1P from those characters hit on NH including Ein a lot more often than CH which puts the attacker at disadvantage even if you were safe in the long run, but I guess it's a big thing.

    I'm honestly kind of happy with not having lows that deep stun. I wonder if Helena will get the same treatment. Stun game is what she's known for

    bring back mileena, take away her ball roll, like how they took away subzero ice clone, THEN i'd be glad that she's back. and tweak her teleporting dive kick while your at it (maybe make it like quan chi sky drop, still make it teleport but actually be able to interrupt/dodge it on reaction)
