Official DOA6 Costume Thread

I'm anxious to see Kokoro's last returning costume, since I'm not a huge fan of the kimono or schoolgirl outfit that have already been shown. I'd personally like to see either C7 (Tifa costume) or C10 (blue dimensions outfit) from DOA5LR. But if I see that Chinese grandpa suit (C2) return I'm gonna have a stroke. Don't even think about it TN.
i love matching that one with eliot’s

Cool, a preview of the German version, but was it really necessary to call their preview "Jiggle Physics Simulator"... >__> Already shows their bad attitude towards the game.

The costume selection, just as the stage selection, seems to be very limited, even for female characters like Nico, and a new low for the series. I'm not really surprised though...

I guess Aerial Gardens in DOA6 was also a pipe dream? This seems to be the final/retail version they are previewing and no trace of it.

Maybe they will do what they did when they launched DOA5 vanilla and do a free costume set. They mostly did that due to fan complaints, but the way this is going, they will get complaints.

I wonder if they, additionally to the DLC costumes that you will be able to buy with real money, will also update the in-game costume shop regularly with new costumes and customization items. Otherwise earning in-game currency and Quest Mode are very soon obsolete,

This probably is another “budget” issue, I would be salty if I didn’t expect this already. It sucks that we won’t have that many costumes. I’m not worried about the costumes since we’ll get many of them in the future anyway. I am happy with the offline content the game has. We can do a lot of things before going online.

I think that will be the case, for KT made costumes. I have a feeling that we will get a lot of returning costumes with a lot of recolours and that will be updated to the DOAQuest mode. I can always ask master on twitter.

Yeah I thought the same when I saw that thumb nail, Instantly put a bad taste in my mouth towards the video since it comes across as if they're being really dismissive of it.

I will say I was expecting/hoping for more outfits per character at launch but what I'll instead focus on Is how great the hairstyles selection is. I do wonder If there's hidden outfits they haven't shown yet though like the bikinis in doa5. And yeah I wonder if more stuff will be added to buy with zack points as it goes on? I'm not sure though, I think it might be just for the base game stuff and then the new dlc will begin coming out.

We all should have guess the first time Shimbori stated budget issues for why Nyotengu was even preorder DLC to start with.

It makes sense considering how everything is ultimately coming together and the fact that Koei Tecmo wasn't even interested in DOA as a series anymore until DOAD convinced just to bother.
Atleast does have alot of offline content though, so that's a good thing.

Ask MASTER too if Nyotengu has an actual name now.

At first I thought that it was cool we were getting 15 costumes for her each female, but that really means 5 costumes with recolors total. DOA5 vanilla had more costume variety than that... don’t get me started on the male characters, but hopefully the tweet posted above is eluding to something good and promising. I am hoping they know that they aren’t offering a wide variety...

Also... do the men have belly buttons yet?

I honestly said that for awhile and I knew it was going to be mostly recolors for the females...

which means it's mainly 2 outfits for the guys and 3-4 outfits for the girls ultimately(with Kasumi getting her preorder being a leg up even if you get the digital deluxe version). So yeah, it's not even that much of a difference ultimately.

I have a question regarding the deluxe costume set (25 costumes)... are they ALL wrestling themed? Are they viewable anywhere yet?
No recolors for those I'm assuming.

Why don’t you guys ask master these questions? His twitter is @omastero

I don’t think he’ll answer the question lmao. I think Nyo is her actual name.

It's not quite true that it's a new low in the series. Without the booster pack from 2U, most characters in DoA3 had two costumes and a recolor. Some characters got lucky and, instead of a recolor, got a more major variation of a costume, such as Hitomi with a different tank top and no jacket, while some (namely Gen Fu and Zack) didn't even get a recolor.
