    Labcoat 21 is looking sick, but not sick enough for me to start playing DBZF again, with this new Fusion meta and fullscreen medium starters I will gladly sit this season out

    Yeah, there are a lot of people, teenagers and adults alike, who really need that reality check sometimes. Disagreeing with someone's opinion while presenting your own to them but also listening to what the other person has to say afterwards is what leads to a healthy exchange of thoughts/opinions with one another, unfortunately, it can be rare to have a genuine conversation with people at times.

    Xenoblade 3, a new Mario Strikers and another Fire Emblem Warriors game? Nintendo comin' out with that heat in 2022. Also hype for the Klonoa and Chrono Cross Remasters, been long enough

    Ed Boon did made a couple of (imo joke) Tweets about adding rollback to MK9, to which my reaction was: "Do it, I'd play that game a whole lot more if it'd get the rollback treatment, we'd have a lot more players playing it too". To be honest, if there's a lot of downtime between MK11 and the next Injustice/MK game then I can see NRS adding rollback to MK9 to fill the timegap between games.

    Also, MK9 was made during an era where fighting games only saw a couple of balance patches, it is only now that there are a ton of dlc characters in every fighting game who usually come along with balance patches.

    u rite, MK9 came out at a time when balancing wasn't a concern for FG's, but a measly 2 balance patches was still unforgivable, hence why the game is so broken

    which is part of the appeal of MK9 but there's stuff which I'm sure NRS would of fixed if they had time (random frame advantage, P1 priority, block infinites, the meter gain glitch, etc)

    even with that I'll still take MK9 over MK11 anyday lol

    There are plenty of players who don't like the way he looks but I dig it, especially since he reminds me of Otto Apocalypse from Honkai, which is ironic in a way since both characters are voiced by the same voice actor in jp dub, I hope that they won't do a double banner with him and Ayaka so that I can try and get both of them.

    Honestly I was gonna pull for him regardless of design, I just need a main Hydro DPS I can run with Mona who wont steal vapes or isn't Childe, fingers crossed he doesn't have passive hydro application like so many other Hydro units

    Think he's gonna be a Hydro sub-dps/support if the leaks about his abilities end up being true (and iirc them correctly). To be honest, the only Hydro dps in this game so far is Childe but these days he's actually seen more as an enabler, kinda wish that Ayato would be the first Hydro main dps character in Genshin but it might seem unlikely.

    @Chaos It sold less than Namco fighters, but more than DOA 5 did. Problem is, they didn't have a plan or a desire to continue supporting it. Team was burned out from 5 and felt done with the series.

    Yeah still feel like 5 (or rather 5LR) should of been the last game if they decided to go on a massive break or just go on out there. If they knew that was going to happen, I wouldn't have even started DOA6 to begin with thinking about it now.

    Ninja Gaiden Master Collection didn't sell well (240k), but they are making Ninja Gaiden 4 still, it's weird

    got scolded online for fuzzying too much in situations where I "should be mashing", I guess manz has a point, if I read a grab I might as well get the max reward and go for the hi-counter hit, still i'd rather fuzzy, at least until they blow me up for it, THEN i'll start mashing

    Good ex. is Pai in DOA5 regarding CH. People claim she's weak (if the game was only NH nonsense sure), but once she lands that one hit CH into sitdown+launch+wall, that's 98 flat which is close to 100 (health is 300). You already lost a portion of your health because Bass / any other heavy decided to hit a button while they she was plus lol. Now imagine the other speedier ones with a slight higher damage output.

    I remember that one discussion about Nico vs Bass, and one of the basic responses was "Well Gehaktbal defeated Sio using Bass against Sio's Nico". He sure did. I was rooting for Gehaktbal even more because of it, but people seem to dismiss the fact that not only is Gehaktbal a very good player, but realistically Sio had a better character that can actually bully Bass if you had to truly try things out.

    I will say though is that strike speeds is actually my least of problems. Some out there take it more personal (especially people who play slower characters), I also play them on the side so I do understand how they feel from actually trying them out myself. My issue is the amount of yomi you have to commit & guesswork for it. Too much dice rolling isn't brain usage lol.

    yeah, it's a very strange move and personally I'm not the biggest fan of current Bungie, but who knows, maybe something cool will come from all this

    maybe we'll finally get that sequel to Oni, it's only been *checks watch* 21 years since the last one came out

    got rid of my PS4, hooked up my old Dreamcast, Gamecube, and OG Xbox to my hd TV, feels like a step backwards but fk it, been in the mood to play alot of old stuff lately

    welp, finally finished Skies of Arcadia for the first time, and I can say with confidence that it's not just nostalgia bait, it actually holds up

    SA1, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia II, Jet Set Radio, DOA2, SA2 etc. Games like Skies actually got me spoiled that I didn't want to give up the Dreamcast one time lol. But the times were changing and they stopped making games for it so I had to let it go and shelf it in the closet. Dreamcast was pretty impactful for me.

    I didn't even know that was a thing lol

    I'll have revisit that at some point, rn im on Grandia 2, or moreso I'm revisiting my old save file from 2017 that I got 20 hours on and I don't remember anything about, except that we've beaten a few pieces of Valmar, Tio's just joined the party and we're fighting bugs in a demon's stomach, so that's gonna be fun to play
