    I haven't seen that AH stuff myself, but I get if people have strong feelings cuz this is the most serious conflict for the west probably since WW2. We're literally on the verge of WW3 every day more than we have ever been before. Yeah, "blame Putin not Russians", but plenty of Russians do support Putin. A large minority want to protest it, but the majority are apathetic, which can be argued is the same as support.

    I feel that, silence/apathy is consent and all, still, i think the reaction to anything remotely Russian is a bit much, like dam I hope Bayman don't get no shine around Feb 24th anytime soon

    Lol, I mean, it's not like I'm gonna stop playing Russian characters myself. Bayman has no idea what's going on in our world, and if the evilness of a character even mattered then no one would play characters like Bison/Vega or Raidou. I guess some people would be that extreme, but then, I wouldn't blame a Ukrainian person for being triggered by any image or representation of Russia, for instance.

    Finally got around to playing Wanted: Dead, that game made by ex-Ninja Gaiden devs; nicest thing I can say about it is that it certainly feels like a game that was made in 2004

    It's one of those things where when people hear "ex NG devs", people will automatically think "ah so the game must be good" when any game/dev have a probability to not release a good product lol.

    After trying out both Valkyrie Elysium (also Soleil) and finally Wanted: dead, both games share extreme similar jank that just doesn't work in current times because they simply can't keep up with the current time despite both good reviews and bad ones. I do feel people might just be clinging onto old nostalgia of past NG products when they were the main hype.

    I think Devil's Third swiftly murdered any faith ppl have when they hear the phrase "made by ex-Ninja Gaiden devs"

    and holy cow I didn't know Valkyrie Elysium was made by Soleil, only thing I remember about that game was that it was forgettable, but I did like their Samurai Jack game, even if that game was just baby's first NG with a Sam Jack skin

    the orginal Max Payne is getting a remake; this is one of the few remakes im actually fine with, since the OG Max Payne is still fun but has PS1 pisswater graphics, is locked behind consoles that are 15 years old, and is a pain to get running on modern PC hardware, so remake away!

    This is neat. Max Payne is actually backwards compatible on the XseX in 4K60fps. A 2020's remake is still welcome however.

    yeah I never played 2, heard nothing but good things about it though, i'll definitely pick up the trilogy at some point, might as well since i've played half of the games so far lol

    I replayed 3 on the legendary edition a few weeks ago. Couldn't stop playing... until I got to the Thesia mission then remembered how much I hated that chapter then gave up.

    I was rewatching some DOAD cutscenes, and I had completely forgotten that Alpha referred to Victor Donovan as "Daddy", ugggggghhhhhh.....

    Yoko Taro and SEGA teaming up to make a video game? sounds awesome, as long as it's not some F2P mobile malarkey...

    even between Metroid Prime Remastered, Pikmin 4, and a freaking Samba De Amigo sequel, the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection was the most exciting announcement for me, I can finally play these games on PC/Switch and have no need to bust out the Nintendo DS

    hope it plays well, the previews give me PS2 vibes when games weren't the most polished but weren't afraid to experiment and try something different, however with that approach games like this either end up being hella niche and fun or hella niche and terrible, guess we'll find out in a few days

    Master Ninja runs in Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma are fun and all but those doppelganger fiend bottlenecks really do bring the whole experience down :(

    with AI that's hard to predict and control it almost feel like a crapshot fighting these guys, but I guess that's the point, oh well, if you wanna skip them you can always play vanilla Ninja Gaiden and just not deal lol

    Forspoken; average gameplay, annoying dialog, akward tonal issues, yeh I kinda see why this game is getting meme'd from hell and back :/

    The new One Piece RPG is actually pretty fun, and the best part is you don't need to watch 1000 episodes to understand the story, although it helps to be familiar with the Straw Hat Pirates post time skip

    I feel that it's way too slow paced in almost every way. I don't think that applying DQ11's formula to something like One Piece works as well as it should. DQ11's formula is excruciatingly traditional. Though at least DQ11's graphics look pretty on One Piece Odyssey.

    I do agree that the pacing is atrocious, especially in the beginning with a tutorial that seems to go on for hours

    as for the traditional feel, I can;t argue that it's formulaic as hell but I don't think that's a con per say, it just makes the game super comfortable and accessible, and adding accessibility to something as impenetrable as modern One Piece is A-OK by me :thumbs up:

    Sonic Prime was...alright, the jokes and tone were inconsistent, but it panders enough to old Sonic fans that I can let it slide and enjoy the ride

    Made the mistake of watching anime in public w/o headphones so of course the first word of spoken dialogue was the lewdest "Ara Ara~" ever XD
