    Does anyone know what the patch notes mean when they say "adjusted damage timing"

    The frame the damage is calculated. In this patch for Bass' case, they made it so when he does his air throw into a red barrel on Forbidden Fortune that it actually does damage now. Before, you'd only get the 10 points of wall damage and none of the air throw itself. Bug still exists for his 1H on low kicks into the red barrels though.

    since they changed the hit status of Nyo's SSSS string (3rd hit ground bounces now) she now has easier access to her Hiten-no-mai options off a grounded launch, that is an awesome buff!

    So who's the frame data in T7 for? anyone who's serious about T7 has already ripped the frame data from the game, uses frame counter, or visits rbnorway, and any1 who plays Tekken casually doesn't give 2 shits about frame data, so really benefits at the end of the day?

    I wouldn't say damn near every other game gives that information out, DOA, MK, Injustice, VF, and SF are the only ones that i recall that do

    Alot of games are still missing in game frame data like sc6 , bbtag etc. It's japanese devs and their pride not to include it day 1. In 2019 ggpo should be the standard for most fg netcodes but it isn't only a few selected games like mk,inju skillgirls oh and sfv.

    I don't get the love for GGPO. The roll back always irritated me and I honestly don't see it ever working on a 3D fighter.

    playing through sigma 1 for the first time and it's so weird, it's like im experiencing revisionist history first hand or something lol

    im actually playing on PSNow with a free trial, not the most ideal way to experience it since it's streaming so it does chug every now and then, but it's playable

    Based off my play-time experience with Black I want to say the AI was much better in comparison to Sigma, but if you are just playing for the first time ever Sigma is totally worth it. I'm trying to remember if Sigma had some absent areas - pretty confident there were a few. I enjoyed most of the additional content. Liked Sigma 2 and played it more frequently than Sigma.

    getting all the endings or playing the game on a higher difficulty with NG+ are pretty much it, of which i've been doing both, ive already got 2 endings and im enjoying the NG+ cause while the base game is fun it's a bit too easy

    even after the patch it feels like Forbidden Fortune and Chinese Festival get picked WAY often more than any other stage during "random" select :/

    mine is 100% random, dunno about the opponents, but is that factored during lobby/ranked matches?

    I don't think it applies during ranked, but in lobbies, I'm almost certain that it uses the random filter of whoever selects the stage.

    seems like everyone and their mother picks Edelgards house, but i guess there's a good reason, beside Edelgard being cute, at least I hope there's a reason besides that...

    but nah all joke aside she definetly comes across as the "are you a scrub who doesn't know how to play? Edelgard is the house for you!"

    Edelgard's also arguably the most integral character to FE3Houses' story between the 3, so you'll get a more "intended" experience if you play through her house. Also I don't know if you'll find her "cute" the more you play through FE3H ;).

    Nah, VF isn't exactly that popular either. DOA just needs a publisher that knows how to promote the game worth a damn.

    As for Daigo, I can see where he's coming from but I personally find it boring when the aggressor can just autopilot their offense. The interplay between offensive options & defensive options is partially why 3D fighters appeal to me more.

    @Force_of_Nature. That's why Tekken is odd. A lot of things r done 2 limit u in terms of defense to make basic stuff more scary that u don't see in other 3D. Having it hold back to block adds to this akward feeling of falsehood in play agency. Chars themselves have the layer of yomi, instead of the system, which I think is perpetuated by the lack of info in the game of how to learn rather than play.

    @Force_of_Nature i don't mind autopilot offence as long as being able to defend is a reasonable option, games like Marvel where blocking is joke it's easy to see why ppl would be turned off by it, but then you have games like Nitroplus Blasterz where offence is relentless but it's designed in such a way where blocking is actually viable and stronger than relying on the games defense mechanics

    Lets say this new LoL fighting game has the best online we've ever seen in a fighting game, you think it will have the capacity to take over? Will everyone be on dat league just cause it's online surpasses everything we've ever had?

    There will be a lot of people who will play this game whether it'll be good or not, since, you know, LoL characters are fighting each other in a 2D fighting game, which would be a huge selling point already plus this'll be F2P just like League, I bet. If the game is good, however, then it might attract a lot of fighting game players to the point where it'd have big tournaments, maybe even appear at EVO, who knows.

    I will keep an eye on it. I'm a fan of board games and was very skeptical when I heard Riot Games made their own board game, Mechs vs. Minions. However, once I got the chance to play it, I was sold on it. You can tell the people who made the game are avid board gamers themselves. It remains to be seen if this new FG is a passion project as well or just cashing in on their LoL popularity.

    @ChaolanLegacy oh shit, i didn't even consider that it'd be F2P, if that's the case then this game will make all the money, then again, i've comfortably played LoL and other F2P MOBA's without spending a penny, mainly cause i've never been that serious about owning all the champions or cosmetics, i just grind for the few I want and im good, bonus points if they have good rotation

    I find making "wired only" lobbies to be a quick way to fill your lobby with the crappiest Wi-Fi connections, Its like reverse psychology or something lol

    That's why I stick to making private 1v1 lobbies or small 3 man lobbies and hope for decent connections
