    I actually used this in nier replicant a couple times, reasons being the combat isn't the deepest and can get really monotonous, and two there are story bits that are really interesting and I'd rather pay attention to it than bother with slashing up the same shade I've cut down for the millionth time. So as anti-gamer as it sounds, I'm all for having the game take over and play itself sometimes

    the Auto battle in nier makes the game feel like a less involved Asuras Wrath, and I liked the Asuras Wrath story, but the game play was just was simon says with mashing and heavy attacks, and if those sequences could be done away with I would not have complained, im down for watching a 20 hour interactive anime lol

    Rig - Jann Lee DOA1 PS1 theme ~ Feels like a theme that would play in a factory or oil rig, which is what Jann's DOA1 PS1 background was lol

    @Force_of_Nature Feel you there lol. It's ok because I still dislike KT as the company is still wack to me. If it wasn't for Sony's cash, probably would of been another cheap SW knockoff. Originally was suppose to be an open world Musou game, thank the heavens that didn't happen.

    I think the Nioh series shows how much talent TN has and how they need someone to provide the appropriate resources. The only Souls-likes that are better than Fromsoft games. And NG showed that they don't even have to copy trends to make good games...or older doa titles

    Unsure if I should get the Nier game on Steam or console. There were mixed reception for the Steam version.

    I'd probably go with console (PS4 or XSX). Or you can wait it out for the Steam version. PC version seems suspect at the moment.

    Probably console. Same thing happened with Nier Automata for the Steam version of the game, a modder named kaldaien made the "FAR" mod that you can use to toggle off many graphic options, out of which one or two of them made Nier:A playable, without that, even the best PC's at the time struggled to run the game perfectly. Another badly optimized Nier game on PC? Thought that they learned from Automata.

    Fun fact: As long as other fighting games and KT exist, DOA will continue to struggle. That's just the reality and way it is. At the end of the day, play what makes you happy.

    I would disagree with "DOA continuing to struggle" due to other fighting games & KT existing. For starters unlike the father of 3D fighter (VF) or other forgotten fighting games, the DOA franchise has potential of seeing more titles & content from mainline & spinoffs. For DOA fighter case it might be awhile to hear something (due to DOA6), but I see the fighter brand eventually making a return.

    KT exist had some benefits for DOA franchise, despite problems they have as publishers (whenever they make games worldwide which in My opinion their better off making games only for Japanese/Asian Player base due to DOAX). KT has better chances of making another fighting game, than Capcom making any other fighting games that isn't SF or crossover games, or Sega making a Fighting Vipers.

    Playstation controllers get worse after every new gen release.

    Sure, new gen graphics beat old, but old gen controllers had always bested new gen controllers by a mile when it comes to durability and life span.

    You could toss a PS1/PS2 controller across a cliff, it'll break but still work somehow. Toss a PS4 controller on a pillow and PS4 goes "Undetected device".

    @SaihateDYNAMO Right? like, I made sure this one was directly from Sony and this one lasted less than the Amazon one. I had warranty, but that next controller is just going to die in like 3 months again I bet anyway lol.

    @Camel with 2 thumbs How is the brook converter overall? have there been any news about it damaging PS4s?

    Because I remember the Chronus MAX converters use to damage PS4 USB ports a while back and prevent power being supplied on it. Big E had to ban them because the Chronus MAX damaged 5 PS4s at an event.

    I like it, it's compact, lag free and accompanies a wide range of controller options, been using it on and off on my PS4 for since 2016 and after the initial update it's worked fine, I've never heard about it wrecking PS4's though, so i guess it's safe

    1) Yakuza series (single player)
    2) FF14 (Multiplayer)
    3) None for fighting games as of yet.

    Occasionally I will hop on Fornite or Among us to play with friends/family. Waiting on Ninja Gaiden Sigma trilogy, Samurai Warriors 5 and No More Heroes 3 coming this summer to add to the list. Also been wanting to try out Xenoblade 2 as well thanks to Pyra/Mythra's addition to Smash.
