I don't think it's overly important either. I just think it's a funny coincidence. I played Tira before, didn't really decide to get out my comfort zone until now. So, I picked Xianghua since I fiddled with her in II. I don't hate SC but it's the only 3D game I didn't take serious. Was just going by VF fundamentals. My friend said SC is plain nuts if I want to learn, more understandable as a system/go by feel fg
I remember those Ace Combat games popping up time and time again. Never bothered with any of them, looked boring the first time I saw it. Why so many sequels for a game no one seems to care about? Japan be backwards as shit.

Ace combat is the shit! Even though I started with assault horizon which was a spin off, it's been on my radar since and I love those games!

    Ace Combat is super popular.

Yeah I kinda wish I played it outside of the demo for 5. There was a lot on that library I didn't check out. I just think causals could probably never grasp a game like Ace combat so inherently it isn't popular. I mean most people don't even finish story on 1P games according to PSN trophies let alone play the Gran Turismo of Jets.
Here in NYC, we don't needa groundhog. We got the Mister Softee trucks to tell us that spring is upon us.

We got a particular Italian ices spot in my neck of the woods that let's you know when summer is here. It's not open yet.
I know it must be fun for Mr. Wah and master and others to play the male characters as no one wants to play them as much. So, you're likely to have your own identity. Is why I liked playing Makoto. Though supposedly every one likes her on the character poll. *shrugs*

After that thing that was said about Hitomi in 6 by @Force_of_Nature . I feel dirty despite me loving karate and being a Makoto player. *Cries* I'm going to try out Bayman again too, ya, know.

He got hit with the nerf bat anyway. He can't do 3K after shoulder. Weird. Does the same leg up bound too. He was never really combo heavy is why I think he might have been a good pick maybe because you have extensions. Throws are real strong in 6. So maybe a throw character. You've seen Bass yo? Shit his throws are even more crazy. I don't know why throws seems to do so much even without hi-counter.
Good Ass players of ours are disliking DoA6. This my friends, is how SF players feel about SFV. Mmmhmm, mmhmm. It isn't a feeling of disgust but rather betrayal.

It most cases doing something that someone else can't is skill but sometimes it's a crutch. That Said, throws even w/o hicounter are nuts. Grab and 6T characters definitely have advantage over others. Few friends of mine don't mind SE being gone but FTs man. We need to make a downed opponent aware of a lack of tech.

I'm cool with DOA6, but something needs to be done about the parries properties on a Break Blow. Wake-up Break Blow is the dumbest shit ever.

Game is giving me a DoA4 vibe. I'm not sure how I feel about it right now.
So what if all the pros decide to not play DoA6 and go back to 5? How would TN take that? Lol DoA5 tourneys living on?

Ironically I heard many of the JPN players liked 5. I was reading a Twitch chat hosted by Siologica and a lot of players prefer 5 including Sio, but if everyone plays 6 they'll play 6 from what I can tell.

I mean, 6 is the newest game. It'll be the game TN supports so they kinda have no choice if they travel to events.

    Chillin' and shillin'.
The 2 mechanics of Fatal Stun and 8/2S attacks remind me of Gen Fu launching you early on in stun with his mid kick launcher 6K+H after SDS and Serpent respectively.
Lisa's stun play in 6 is just odd to me. She can't simply launch and get her good shit. 66P2K is meh now. Bt 2k doesn't combo from stun. You can P+k but it doesn't grant too much much with 4P. IDK I'll just get use to that in particular
Ok, so, the haircut I want is actually called a taper, not a fade. The sajam cut. I always say, fade the back only. Problem is, How do I say, "Taper" in Spanish? @DestructionBomb I know your barber's Dominican too. lol Tu puedes hacerme un cirio?

I think your barber should have the same hair type as you to extent. My hair is dead, so, I can still go to a straight hair barber like a Mexican or a Chinese (Chinese lady did it) barber because they just know how I want it. 2 of the 3 (good attempt was my mom's old friend so, it made sense) times a Black dude did my hair, if, I don't tell him to stop, he'll keep mowing it down.
Is it sad of U.S. schools that I actually learned a bit of the metric system because of video games? More than my school has taught me. I do use metric more personally when talking about distance or temperature and even heights. Just haven't fully embraced Kgs and still use pounds because i feel imperial is better in that sense of measuring weight. Does anyone agree on that one? Pounds sound better to me

    As for video games:

    - Donkey Kong Country 1/2/3 gave me an appreciation of music, art, and wildlife
    - Gran Turismo helped me out with driving and driving lines
    - Rock Band & Guitar Hero helped me discover different kinds of music and got me into Drums & Guitar
    - Fighting games (starting with SF2 & Tekken 3) helped me with reading people and situations

    List goes on.

@Force_of_Nature I agree with the Gran Turismo one and fighting games to an extent. As they had a professional fencer play Soul Calibur with Okubo and he was just mashing lol Gran Turismo has people play tournaments in europe and they can win a chance to qualify for their real life racing licence

GTA has taught me how to run over people correctly, just step on the gas and hit em! All jokes aside, video games actually do teach you stuff. Not only math and stuff like that, but also philosophy and empathy. Some video games really have some deep story lines that make you feel bad for a character, or one of the characters in the game really teaches you a life lesson that helps in self discovery.
